This seems to have echos of Max knowing the overtaking rules better than anyone else cause he never got punished (even when he breached the regs).
Kimi knows the track limit rules better than the other drivers 😆 🤣
Or is it #F1 favouritism, giving the chosen driver advantages to win the WDC.

More total incompetence from @FIA
At #MonacoGP they failed to tell stewards about pit lane timing problems, leading to incorrectly issuing multiple penalties, of which 1 driver had theirs rescinded on review.
At #SpanishGP they somehow missed the 1st Kimi went off track in the initial assessment of deleted lap times, adding it later, and issue a 5 second penalty for a driver that didn't even finish the race!!!
#F1 governance is in chaos

Is it time that @fia @Ben_Sulayem replaced #F1 stewards?
It has become a standing joke that when Derek Warwick & Garry Connelly are stewards there will be a 💩 show of a race.
Felix Holter can also be added to that list.
It is no coincident that they oversaw
• Belgium '21 - the race that NEVER STARTED
• Abu Dhabi '21 resulting in the 'human error' WDC
• Monaco '26 the pit speeding fiasco
These stewards are NOT fit for purpose

Actually it sets precedent so that the stewards never try anything like that again. Its not just about making sure the correct decision is made its about making sure it wont happen again because teams fia and stewards “get away with it”. Rules are there for a reason
This is why Lewis and Mercedes didn't take their Abu Dhabi 2021 Appeal to court btw.
They were clearly in the right and had a very good case for winning, just like Pierre, but in the end winning like that is just garbage. You lose out on basically all the stuff that makes the moment of winning so great. Very reminiscent of Morocco and their AFCON.
I think the only thing worse than winning a title in court, even if it's totally correct, is winning a title through an FIA donation.
Besides, Mercedes thought they had another rocketship on their hands for 2022 so they thought they'd just win the eighth right then instead.
I'm happy they didn't go through with it either way as we wouldn't have gotten Silverstone 2024 and Lewis in red otherwise, and everyone on the planet knows that Lewis was the rightful winner anyways.
Congratulations to Pierre though, it's a completely deserved podium and Alpine are right to fight for every point.

You do have to wonder why the @fia can admit an obvious error in Monaco and correct the result, but couldn’t do the same when their race director broke the rules and robbed Lewis Hamilton of an 8th WDC at the #F1xed #AbuDhabiScandal… #F1

Ferrari planned the introduction of a similar solution to the W17's serrated diffuser trailing edge earlier this year, but the proposal was ultimately rejected by the FIA. It later being deemed legal on the Mercedes.
A formal request of clarification was sent to the FIA's office regarding the matter between Montreal and Monaco.
