This was a historic statement by the Field Marshal S.A.M Manekshaw, he praised the Pakistan army for fighting the war very gallantly in the East Pakistan in 1971 inspite of being out-numbered by 50:1 !

Heart-breaking.
Lt. Taha Shaheed and his siblings are four brothers - all four in the Armed Forces. The youngest a cadet at PMA, the eldest an instructor at PMA. The 4th one couldn't even make it to his brother's funeral since he is serving on an international assignment. Salute to the incredible educationist parents who raised such valiant, selfless sons on top of educating thousands of sons and daughters of the nation. We're eternally indebted. 🇵🇰

Lieutenant Taha of the Pakistan Navy Aviation was martyred in a tragic aircraft crash near Mardan earlier today.
His badge, symbolizing deep patriotism, was recovered and read: “B — Keep one pint for yourself, donate the rest for the motherland.”
