Grifters are attracted to the space industry because it takes so long before there’s evidence of incompetence. And even then, “space is hard,” is a handy excuse. The reason it’s not more replete with grifters is that it was never “investable”…until now.

HASTE (*Suborbital* Test Electron) has reached *orbit* before Starship 😭😂
The blank orbital data on space-track's satcat page for 2026-130 have now been filled in showing 198 x 199 km x 40 deg and 189 x 204 km x 40 deg for the two objects. No actual TLE/GP data, at least so far

"NextNav Inc. (NextNav) seeks special temporary authority to demonstrate that its proposed 5G operations can coexist with existing services operating in the 902–928 MHz band. The demonstrations will involve a single base station located in Washington, DC. The base station will transmit in the 918–928 MHz sub-band at a radiated power of up to 1000 watts effective radiated power (ERP) per sector, with one antenna mounted with a fixed azimuth and the beamwidth values specified in the attached antenna exhibit. Mobile units will operate in the 902–907 MHz sub-band at a radiated power of no more than 61 milliwatts ERP." apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/els/repor… apps.fcc.gov/els/GetAtt.html….

Today, clouds rolled in and we witnessed a spectacular sun halo over the Magellan Telescopes at Carnegie’s Las Campanas Observatory in the Atacama dessert in Chile ☀️ The halo appears as a circular ring of light around the Sun (~22° radius), formed when sunlight is refracted through hexagonal ice crystals in high-altitude cirrus clouds.
