was taking a shit and playing sudoku on my phone, remembered how much I think it's ridiculous to give "hints" to sudoku players like wtf what is the point in playing if you need hints, and then I realized it is the epitome of my disappointment in the steam reviews for Subliminal.
Steam reviews annoy me. The "Mixed" rating on Subliminal being mostly "It's Poppy Playtime" and "The puzzles are too difficult" is just ridiculous. This is why I hate referring to myself as a "gamer" because the appreciation for art is just lost for most of them. 1/9

Subliminal was an awesome experience and I think it's one of the best in its genre, and that genre is not mascot horror, nor is it "slop" by any stretch. It's a well-crafted, liminal space, psychological horror. Recommended. Immerse yourself and enjoy. @TheSubliminalG well done!

Okay just so I'm clear, I SHOULDN'T complain about handholding in games because I get turned around or stuck for a moment on a puzzle like 99% of all gamers? And this only applies to content creators because their gameplay is recorded?
I feel like these people have a complex.
A yyber @igp remarked about yellow paint in 'still wakes the deep' then proceeded to get turned around and ask where to go a few times.
The game is linear even more so in the DLC. The people who complain about yellow paint NEED the yellow paint
