One of my friends in Israel said something to me today that has not let go of my throat or my tears since that moment:
"There are still fewer Jews in the world today than there were before the Holocaust."
6 million human beings.
Murdered.
Burned.
Made into ash.
Left in mass graves, in the soil, in the water, in the air.
A crime so vast even nature still carries it.
Some grief never ends.
