Star of the week @NHSBartsHealth . One of our consultant dermatologists did a full night shift supporting the nurses and then stayed till 11 am the next day helping the team sort out PPE related skin problems 💙

Absolutely this! Comment yesterday that it wasn’t as bad as expected in Kent with over 670 deaths. Reporting has become too casual

We think it’s an absolute disgrace that @MattHancock asked Dr Allin-Khan to ‘watch her tone’ when asking a very reasonable question. Especially when considering over 180 of her colleagues have died on his watch. Please RT if you do too.

I will respectfully challenge the Government - I want our country to succeed. However, I will not 'watch my tone' when dozens of NHS and care staff are dying unnecessarily. A clip of my Q to the Health Sec today.

I like it! Hope this doesn't count as unnecessary! 😎
I’m thinking of adding this as a thumbnail at the foot of my emails and seeing if that helps reduce the Suffocation of Emails during #Covid19 #NHS

Unfortunately we've lost a few followers due to sharing this article about the government's failings regarding Coronavirus This is not about politics, it's about the many lives that are at stake, and ignoring it helps no one Please follow and RT if you remain right behind us
It is heartbreaking that NHS staff have been, and continue to be, failed by those at the highest level. We hope the media maintain this level of scrutiny for the benefit of everyone in the UK - please RT if you do too. thetimes.co.uk/article/coron…

Dear Dan I must admit that I was shocked too! I'd like to see a breakdown of why they need the increase when carers are expected to live on a pittance.
I just hoisted my daughter out of bed, gave her her meds. I then wheeled my wife in her wheelchair to the bathroom. I then reflected on my 24hr dual care life, my possible job loss, the 1 pound increase to £67pw carers allowance. I cried Then I read this thetimes.co.uk/article/coron…
I've just had a very interesting video consultation with Dr Hannan. (My GP) We were using AccRX. This is a brilliant use of technology which means I don't have to go down to the practice Especially useful during the current Coronovirus situation. Brilliant!

Please be more specific about the "underlying conditions" ...for those in this category, lack of detail is more frightening than generalities. @PHE_uk @CommonsHealth

We also need support for residents & carers to access their full Gp record in order to maintain independence @griffglen @ManchesterGrou1 @ingridbrindle this would be an important change and step forward @doctorcaldwell in both #nhs and social carer arena

Sounds like a very good article with Amir and Jeremy Taylor in HSJ News. Unfortunately, I can't afford the subscription so I can only see the headlines. I'll have to wait until you can send it to me in a different format. Well done you 😊
What about the patient by @JeremyTaylorNB hsj.co.uk/comment/what-about… @HSJnews this really spells out what we have learned and can share with others too. Every system is perfectly designed for the results it gets @donberwick

I agree with Cancer Mum. Your health must always come first. I understand how you feel as my ill health has caused me to cancel things and I hate it. People will just want you to concentrate on getting better so you can get back in action! Take care of yourself x

I hope you feel better soon Lucy and a hospital visit is not necessary. Your health is important and must always come first. People understand that. Sending healing thoughts x

The Leaders in this are at @htmc0 led by @amirhannan - this is how it should be but it requires a lot of determination and hard work to set up correctly @ingridbrindle

He was my doctor and I thought he was great! I had a LTC & he gave me maximum control over my meds. He also trusted me & said " If you feel you can go to work then go. If not then I'll support you" When the story broke the whole of the waiting room was covered in cards of support
What was strange was he was perceived as a good doctor; even award winning. Thought of as a solid, ‘old school’ GP who ‘told it as it is’.. What was going on in his warped mind we’ll never know. Amazing that you took on the challenge Amir.. #respect

I am feeling very sad tonight 🙄I hoped against hope that it wouldn't come to it but it has! I want to say to all my European friends that this won't change how I feel. I'm European and proud of it. We are making a dreadful mistake and when people realise it will be too late

It will be a sad time tonight at 11pm. Thank you for all you have done. We will be a much poorer nation outside of the EU. It will become apparent over the next few years what we will miss, once it starts to effect the lives of people all around the UK.

We should be aiming for “personal health biographies” which allow full access to relevant info to support heath, education, DWP, housing, all applications for reasonable adjustments, disability support, DVLA etc to save time create efficiency enable right support at right time
