Great #LMCConf today hearing from jobbing GPs talking up about what is so great and proud to be part of General Practice. Big sense of colleagues feeling run down though and sense of hopelessness. Need to promote GP by choice, not chance

Many patients / carers need to be supported before, during and after too. My work does not end just because they download an app. Also many do not initially understand why they need this. It takes time and realising the system is not joined up but patient is at the centre mostly

Ok I’m about to offend some people. Ready? I’m increasingly meeting people who have a PHD in taking offence. Now there are some serious issues we really need to be mad about and take action over. And there are other issues where we need to ‘build a bridge and get over it.’

Today we reached another significant milestone when more than 80% of our Bangladeshi patients can now have full #RecordsAccessAndUnderstanding including reading what the doctor / nurse has written about them. Here’s a photo of 2 of them today with staff @htmc0 @AshallLinda

This training is important @zulfali #GPs sitting on their own without any secondary care is not the way to transform. #GPs need more funding and we must stop wasting in the secondary care. Got to invest in #Digital #transformationation and skill mix is the way to do it.
