Where are the tests?
19 Mar 2020
The U.S. and South Korea both confirmed their first cases of coronavirus on January 20. As of yesterday, South Korea had tested 274,000 people. The U.S. had only tested 25,000. Trump's failure to provide widespread COVID-19 testing is costing American lives.

Together, I believe these (and other case-based) strategies can bring down the epidemic. This is the Apollo program of our times. Let's get to it. 19/19

Listening to a talk at #Dros19 about transvection makes me think that the dominance/additivity of cis-regulatory mutations may be different in flies than other animals.

An NSF funded postdoc position is open in my lab. Our interests are broad, but centered on evolutionary and functional genomics of sex dimorphism. We 😍 fruit flies, but understand if your first love is another organism :) Find me at #Dros19, DM, or email for info/?s. Please RT.

Loved the tissue-specific expression dataset @IdeaSpermatheca had collected and analyzed. Time we learn more about the female proteins of reproduction!

So thankful for the @GeneticsGSA peer reviewer training program. I have a clearer understanding of review criteria and the entire process now! Recommend it for other early career scientists!
