This is not Bengali script. When was Mayurbhanj part of Bengal king's rule last time? How many Bengali king's inscription found there? What was the percentage of Bengali speakers there in first linguistic census? Rather places like Medinapur and part of Bankura, Hooghly, and Howrah was part of Odisha. Multiple Bengali authors have written this exeltensively. Even Bengali kings mention that chunk of Dandabhukti was part of Odisha during rule of Kings like Sasanka. Kalidasa mention the same. Portugese mention the same. British even mention places like Hinjli part of Odisha when even Odisha kings were not ruling there. They explicitly mention that. Medinapur had Khandayat rulers in abundance during Akbar's period. Persian sources mention that. In first linguistic census 20% of Medinapur was Odia speakers. Even during pala rule of Deva pala or his immediate successor Tamluk was not in Pala kingdom but under Bhaumakaras. Inscriptional data shows that.
