Amen
I have many more issues with Ilhan Omar being worth $30 million than Elon being worth a trillion.

Wow. @RoKhanna is loaded, but shields his assets in a trust and other tax advantaged vehicles. Even still, heโ€™s advocating confiscating 5% of @elonmuskโ€™s wealth. Crazy.

Ro Khanna's ~$233 million net worth (mostly from family trusts per disclosures) is roughly 1,200 times the median U.S. household net worth of ~$193,000 (Federal Reserve SCF data). That's about 220 times the mean of ~$1.06 million.

The beauty of America, and only America, is that capitalism drives outcomes like this. Innovation is rewarded by our markets. Build something of extreme value? Great. Youโ€™re rewarded. Do it remarkably well? bbecome a trillionaire. Good stuff, Elon. Hereโ€™s to more trillionaires ๐Ÿป
I think itโ€™s fucking insane that no one making our laws sees any potential problems with a single citizen possessing more wealth than 176 of 195 countries

Brian is authentic to his core. I greatly admire his no BS attitude. Iโ€™ve learned much from him in so little time. Glad this OG is mentoring GPs. He will win. GPx is a strategy all platforms will attempt to copy 5 years from now. Donโ€™t think theyโ€™ll be successful though.
NEW: Brian Singerman, fmr Founders Fund, now GPx, on why he only invests in *people* SpaceX is the reason he joined Founders Fund in 2008 "If SpaceX didn't work, Founders Fund would not exist." From Elon & SpaceX to Karp & Palantir, to Anduril, Airbnb, Stripe, & Stemcentrx, @briansin's whole framework is one question: Is this the best founder in the world at their particular thing? We get into: - What makes Founders Fund unique: a team of strong-willed, genuinely authentic individuals - Why a 3x fund loses to the S&P - How a lifetime of strategy gaming shapes how he reads founders & now GPs - Why he bets against the end of the world every time - Why he's bullish on N-of-1 human cultural artifacts in an AI world - Why Cyan Banister & Palmer Luckey are genuinely N-of-1 people Thank you to @mlevchin, @traestephens & @ScottNolan for great questions ๐“๐ˆ๐Œ๐„๐’๐“๐€๐Œ๐๐’ (00:00) Brian Singerman, Co-Founder of GPx, Former Partner at Founders Fund (00:42) Founders Fund (02:09) Max Levchin's unfiltered questions (05:25) How gaming shaped his investing (06:11) Joining Founders Fund in 2008 (07:34) Silicon Valley's most fascinating characters (09:29) Lessons from Peter Thiel (11:26) Building a culture of conviction (11:59) The art of spotting A founders (13:55) Trae's biggest lesson from Peter Thiel (14:41) Is socialism a threat to America? I'm left speechless by @Saronic. Talented team. Great products. Exceptional outcomes. This is why we do it. On Monday evening, and without incident, Saronic's Corsair vessel autonomously searched for, identified, and rescued two Army AH-64 Apache pilots in the Hormuz Strait. This marks DoW'sย first publicized useย of an ASV to locate and retrieve downed aircrew in a real-world military operation. We are beyond privileged to count @MavrookasD and his incredible team as members of the @SilentVentures family. God bless our troops ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

If you canโ€™t fly it, donโ€™t buy it.
Why People Love the Cirrus Vision Jet: -Low cost to operate ($1500/hr) -Low purchase price ($1.9-$3.9M) -Easy to fly yourself -Spacious Interior Why Some Dislike It: -Range limited, especially with full seats -Seats face forward -Relatively slow -4 adult seats w/ pro pilot

We value SpaceX at $63 per share, a 53% discount to the upcoming IPOโ€™s offering price. Even giving SpaceX the benefit of the doubt in several key forecasts, only the most optimistic โ€˜Moonshotโ€™ scenario approaches the IPO offering price. spr.ly/6010B8Iqtr

Art in motion. The Mitsubishi F-15 Eagle is the pride of Japanโ€™s Air Self Defense Force. So much so that a select few receive celebratory paint jobs inspired by Japanese culture. These designs range from ukiyo-e-inspired depictions of Mt. Fuji to dragon motifs and blooming sakura. Later this week: a post about U.S. designs ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

No joke walked into a GP meeting on Sand Hill road back when I was building Spectrum AI. Halfway through the Managing Partner pulls out his phone, opens YouTube, and proceeds to show me a police shootout that had been trending. Needless to say we didnโ€™t take their money.
I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30 minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.

Bitcoin is gonna crash as SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI IPO. Itโ€™s a wealth transfer. Liquidity has to come from somewhere.

Retail investors are not pricing in the new scrutiny SpaceX will be under as a public company and the cost of failure vs. private markets. Starship explodes on launch or re-entry, stock falls 15%. Aside from the structurally low float, expect major volatility following the IPO.

TFW your political message hinges on calling Trump and Republicans Nazis, but your party is actively promoting a Senator with a swastika tattoo like itโ€™s normal @DNC. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0โ€ฆ

Nuts the opportunity squandered by @BostonDynamics. Thanks political correctness.
Introducing RX-1, our experimental European robotics platform. Every step the quadruped takes is a step toward Europeโ€™s technological sovereignty. We make it available to academic labs across Europe.

Really unfortunate. I so respected the Benchmark partnership for never drifting outside their strike zone. $400M after $400M was their sweet spot. Not becoming a platform like Sequoia or Accel is what enabled real alpha. Looks like this era is coming to an end.
Scoop: Benchmark has raised $2 billion across two new funds, including its first growth fund, a big shift for a firm that spent decades defending a smaller, focused approach to venture investing. Details here: wsj.com/finance/investing/siโ€ฆ

Proud that @SilentVentures has backed so many transformative defense tech companies over the years. Including personal investments, we have 10 standouts in @SVDG_official's 2026 NatSec 100 list. On behalf of the fund, I'd like to tip my cap to the patriots at: 2. @Saronic (since Seed) 9. @Castelion (since Pre-Seed) 15. @HadrianInc (since Pre-Seed) 17. @GoToImpulse (since Series B) 18. @ChaosDefense (since Series A) 45. @Firestorm_Labs (since Pre-Seed) I'm confident we'll see the following emergent defense tech companies on SVDG's 2027 NatSec 100 list: @ereborbank @basepowerco @armada_ai @harbingermotors @GallatinAI @AeonIndustrial @Furientis @traysartech @DominionDynamic @SwarmAero Keep up the momentum, America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Local, decentralized compute is also a way to circumvent multi-year lead time, red tape data center buildouts.
The laptop hasn't changed in 30 years. NVIDIA just changed it RTX Spark is their first PC chip ever. - RTX 5070 level GPU - 128GB unified memory - 1 petaflop of local AI - thin, light, barely throttles unplugged Your AI agent lives on the machine. 24/7. No cloud. This is step one of the agentic AI PC, and everyone else is about to copy it.
