By 2028, the average hill farm income will only be 55% of the national minimum wage.
And now the Government is forcing those farmers to pay a huge inheritance tax bill.
This is a disaster for our environment and our nation's food security.
I'll keep fighting for our farmers.

A shocking BBC investigation has found that millions of litres of raw sewage were illegally pumped into Windermere earlier this year.
Today, I'm putting forward an amendment to the Criminal Justice Bill which could see water company bosses prosecuted for sewage pollution.

In Westmorland & Furness the Cumbria Police & Fire election result was: Lib-Dem 14,535 (39%) Lab 12,991 (34%), Con 10,247 (27%). Labour won in Cumberland and overall but this bodes well for the general election. @LibDems @ALDC @timfarron @euromove @WandFCouncil @BandFLibDems
