Taken together, we believe we have derived a pseudotemporal profile of synaptic changes in human AD and shown that they are associated with changes in the astrocyte proteome, particularly that of PAPs. 5/6

This opens up new synaptic targets and avenues for the therapeutic targeting of synapses in AD. This was a great team effort by @GriffithsJess94 joint with Seth Grant lab, @Eleonoreschneeg and the UKDRI MAP team. The end. 6/6

One official year in (after many official years) of the Jackson lab and celebrated with a 'sip n paint' neon masterclass. Looking forward to the year ahead and pleased to have the best team on board. Watch this space for our synaptic multi-'omics work coming out in 2025

Very proud to be working with @alzheimerssoc to fight this devastating disease
Around one million people are living with #DementiaBehindClosedDoors. We can change that when we act as one, loudly telling our stories to make people in power understand why dementia must be a priority. 1/3
