I've been having a better time on Blue Sky, than on this hell site so I haven't been checking in.
However, it seemed important to note that four years ago a deranged maniac tried to overthrow the government & we just re-elected him president, instead of putting him in jail.

I’m not at all mad at the pick, mostly just the circumstances that caused it. We all know the Sox can’t develop bats and while it’s nice that Getz seems to realize this it would also be nice if he fixed that problem so we could reliably draft position players. Welcome Hagen!

Mike Clevinger threw 61 pitches in 2.2 innings during his rehab start last night. Pedro Grifol said Sox will find out how he’s feeling and recovering. If he’s healthy, possibility he could be built back up on the fly, with him making shorter starts in big league rotation.

Genuinely one of the most creative “magic duels” in the last 20 years of cinema. I was always deeply disappointed in the Harry Potter films for making duels into little more than ray-gun fights with different colors whizzing about. So much unused potential

It’s so sad to see this. When the Sox give fans a reason to turn out (even for a rad jersey) they will. They’re capable of being the best fans in baseball if they could have more than one year of sustained success.
