I have many more issues with Ilhan Omar being worth $30 million than Elon being worth a trillion.

Oh, ALL OF THIS!!
Don’t worry about Elon becoming rich with his own money. Worry about politicians becoming rich with your money.

There is just no doubt about it.
British Columbia Premier, David Eby, must resign.

Peak wokeness.
Thank you Mark Carney and Canada! After bigot buffoon Trump had Somali referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan's entry into the U.S. denied — Canada stepped up.

STFU and SIT DOWN. You create NOTHING, you build NOTHING and you employ NO ONE!!! You’ve lived off taxpayers for decades. You’re the problem, Pocahontas…. Not Elon!!!
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. This needs to be a wake up call.

WTF. Americans. Canadians. All of us are struggling to pay for gas, mortgage, groceries. NONE of this has anything to do with @elonmusk. It has everything to do with no nothing, ivory tower sitting asshole politicians who haven't a clue about what is truly happening. YOU make the rules. YOU set the tax rates. YOU all are responsible for this fkn mess we are in. THE POLITICIANS. NOT Elon Musk.
Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and gas while Elon Musk becomes a TRILLIONAIRE. When the federal government is for sale, the rich get richer and everyone else gets shafted. The system is rigged.

LA completely shit the bed in not moving this guy forward...of course, he was robbed of that by the powers that be. There isn't anyone with 1/2 a brain that doesn't think their system is completely corrupted.

Defund all Canadian media. Let them stand in their own. If their content is good they will survive. If they don’t they make room and give further rise to the independent journalist.
The Globe and Mail published a guide on how to properly hate someone because they did something impressive in life. This is a real headline. Well… at least they’re finally being honest about what they do.

Yes that tracks for us. As usual the government doesn’t have a clue.
According to Canada’s Food Price Report 2026, a family of four is projected to spend $17,572 on food this year. The Prime Minister’s Office might want to include a few people who can actually do food math before making affordability announcements.

Amazing to me in this day and age the lies that people tell without fact checking themselves. Remarkable contributions? Like what? A cabinet minister in Trudeaus government? Quite the accomplishment there. A simple prompt in Grok will show you that they represent .1% of small business in Canada. Hardly remarkable and deserving of an entire month of recognition! You know who deserve an entire month? The Veterans of this once great country.
Canada’s Somali community has made remarkable contributions to our country and continues to enrich every aspect of Canadian life. From entrepreneurs creating jobs, to healthcare professionals caring for our families, to teachers, public servants, community leaders, athletes, artists, and small business owners, Somali Canadians have helped build stronger communities from coast to coast. Their story is also a Canadian success story, one of hard work, resilience, family values, and a commitment to giving back. We see that success in businesses founded and led by Somali Canadians, including Karma Food Co., known for its healthy food products, The Village Grocer Inc., which has become a well known grocery retailer, and numerous transportation, logistics, technology, real estate, and financial services businesses that contribute millions of dollars to the Canadian economy and create jobs in communities across the country. We also see it in the achievements of prominent Somali Canadians such as Ahmed Hussen, who arrived in Canada as a refugee and went on to serve as a federal cabinet minister; Hodan Nalayeh, the celebrated journalist and storyteller who helped share the stories of Somalis around the world; Faisal Hassan, one of the first Somali Canadian Members of Provincial Parliament in Ontario; and Mustafa Farah, whose community leadership and advocacy have helped strengthen opportunities for young Canadians. Canada is stronger because of the diversity, talent, and contributions of Somali Canadians. Today, we celebrate a community that continues to help shape the future of our country for the better. Thank you for all that you do.

Here are headlines from the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Simultaneously, they all want a social media ban. "To protect the children". Our governments aren't calling the shots; they're following orders. This is just one example. Every law passed happens in the exact same way in all for 4 countries. This cannot be possible unless each leader of each country works for the exact same people. Our leaders are not elected; they are installed. #UK #NewZealand #Canada #Austrailia

They can say and believe they’re keeping people safe all they want. Good intentions don’t override the unacceptability of implementing control systems that impact all our freedoms.

Exactly. It’s not for ‘your safety’ it’s for state control. Time to gtfo of Canada while you still can.
Bill C-11 Bill C-18 Bill C-22 Bill C-34 Bill C-9 See the pattern yet? Note how it’s always for “safety” and “protecting children”. There’s more I could list if this isn’t enough to at least make you stop and think “what is the end goal here?”

What Tara said. Eby himself should be on a terrorist watch list.
US law enforcement denied entry to this foreign national because of his ties to Al-Shabaab, a Somali terrorist organization. David Eby thinks that's "heartbreaking." BC's public safety should come before Eby's radical devotion to mass migration. No terrorists on Canadian Soil.

Any time the government tells you they are keeping you safe, don't believe them. In fact, the intention is the exact opposite. Open your eyes Canada.
Today, our government introduced new legislation to protect our kids online. Canada's Safe Social Media Act will hold social media and AI platforms accountable, make them safer, and restrict access to social media for children under 16. More and more kids are suffering from anxiety, depression, self-harm, and exploitation. To keep our kids safe, we have to ensure that our laws keep up with technology.
Community note
Similar laws elsewhere (e.g., Australia’s attempts) have shown the same issue: age-gating often leads to ID/biometric collection for everyone. childrenofthestreet.com and ultimately a major privacy issu

Man, read the room. You’re literally disparaging 2 woman who left their posts because of their principles. I may not agree with @NewWorldHominin on the approach to the 215, but there’s no denying that she did so at great personal cost. My understanding is @by__brittany left to be able to speak more openly. How about instead of attacking woman with no power to shape policy, you focus on your new job. I don’t know who you are, but both the woman you just came at have my respect. And after just seeing you on this platform, I’m not impressed.
