In 2016, Ontario @Ont_Ombudsman #Ombudsman Paul Dubé’s report Nowhere to Turn revealed heartbreaking realities: adults with #developmental #disabilities left in hospitals, shelters, and even jails—because proper housing and supports didn’t exist. At @ReenaFoundation, our mission is to change that. We are building inclusive, supportive housing communities that empower dignity, independence, and belonging. We offer real alternatives to institutionalization and also empower others to do the same through the Intentional Community Consortium. #IntentionalCommunityConsortium This week at the #AMO2025 Conference in #Ottawa, Reena's Stakeholder Relations Lead, @GladstoneCFRE met with Mr. Dube and municipal and provincial leaders to keep pushing solutions forward.
