Another officer injured in the line of duty while protecting our communities. Every search warrant, every call, and every shift carries the potential for violence. Today’s shooting is a stark reminder of the dangers police officers face in service to the public. Our thoughts are with the injured officer, their family, and their colleagues. We are wishing them strength and a full recovery
Waking up to news like this is never easy. Our thoughts are with the injured officer and everyone @TPAca and @TorontoPolice impacted by this shooting. Wishing the officer a speedy recovery and hoping for strength and positive outcomes for all involved.

MPP @MichelleC_PC cares deeply about #seniors! We announced that 200 #seniors @KensingtonHlth will remain happy and healthy, because they received our government's record funding for SALCs. Also a pleasure to share my "Gift of Laughter" with the incredible #seniors there.

It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce and mourn the loss of PC Marc Pinizzotto, 43, of our Emergency Task Force, killed in the line of duty today. Marc devoted 18 years to serving the people of Toronto, including 5 years with ETF. He was a courageous officer, a respected colleague, and a man who put others before himself. Today, a police family has lost their loved one, and our Service has lost a brother. The grief is immeasurable. Our hearts are with Marc’s family, his loved ones, and his ETF teammates. Our members will stand with them, now and always. A hero in life. See my full statement tps.ca/media-centre/news-rel…

Ontario and Pennsylvania have supported generations of workers and businesses through cross-border trade. Today’s agreement, signed by Premier Ford and Governor Shapiro, will expand cooperation in areas of strategic importance to both economies. 🔗: news.ontario.ca/en/release/1…

Breaking records as Ontario executed another major nuclear refurbishment — under budget and seven months ahead of schedule.   A key pillar in @fordnation's economic plan to create 150,000 net-new jobs as we double down on #MadeinCanada nuclear.

When Ontario successfully executed the world's largest nuclear refurbishment at Darlington, critics said it couldn’t be done again. Watch LIVE as @laurasthornhill, @RudyCuzzetto, @LisaThompsonPC & our government prove them wrong. youtube.com/live/Q00JrZ2KdA8…

Ontario’s Fortress North America growth plan is built on a simple truth: economic security is national security. By strengthening collaboration between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, we will create more jobs, lower costs and strengthen North American security.

A heartfelt thank you to the Jewish Security Network (JSN), Toronto Police Service, emergency services, security personnel, and community partners who helped keep the 2026 Walk with Israel safe and secure.   Through your dedication, coordination, and commitment, our community was able to gather proudly and confidently for this important day.   Thank you for standing with us and helping make the Walk a success.

Yesterday, more than 60,000 people came together for the 57th Walk with Israel.   Families, friends, students, seniors, children, allies, volunteers, community leaders, and supporters from across the GTA and beyond filled the streets with pride, hope, and an unwavering commitment to one another.   At a time when our community faces extraordinary challenges, this day was a powerful reminder of who we are: resilient, united, and stronger together.   To every person who walked, volunteered, donated, sponsored, performed, cheered from the sidelines, or helped make this day possible—thank you. Your presence mattered.   The Walk has always been about more than the distance we travel. It's about the bonds that connect us, the values we share, and the future we are building together.   As we reflect on an unforgettable day, our hearts are full—with gratitude, pride, and hope.   Thank you, Toronto. 💙

Five years ago, we saw a horrific act of Islamophobic hate take four innocent lives in London. No one should ever be targeted or feel unsafe because of their faith. Today is a reminder of the need to fight hate in all its forms and build a province where everyone can live in safety and without fear.
