When our young people are communicating stressed behaviour, we must regulate, relate, and then reason in that sequence. We must not go straight for the cortex. Young people cannot reason when their emotions are not regulated. Visual credit. @BDPerry @NeuroSequential🧠🌱

CAMHS professionals are great. CAMHS services are not. That’s the consequence of 10 yrs of austerity stripping out pre-CAMHS services like health visitors, school nurses & children’s centres, and 10 years of increased MH awareness but no increased CAMHS capacity. #LostGeneration

If they'd said from the start that he did break the rules but he did so out of concern for his family, he's sorry and hopes it doesn't mean he loses his job.... I'd be sympathetic. It's the arrogance of the whole episode and the supine Cabinet that is so unbearable.
