Today we are going to talk about the FEELESS $XNO >> A pretty interesting project that people have been asking me to speak about and give my thoughts on. Straight up, I'm quite impressed by what the Nano team has been able to accomplish with this project - it's a REAL feeless, instant, and highly scalable coin. The key design innovations behind Nano address some of the long-standing limitations of other major cryptocurrencies… namely, the issues of scalability and high transaction fees that have plagued projects like Bitcoin. And yeah, the category this project falls under is more like Bitcoin rather than Ethereum since Nano is a digital currency rather than a platform for development of decentralized applications, and it does a really good job of addressing some of Bitcoin's pain points. And before you guys check it out for yourself, it has no smart contract functionality, no mining, and just a focus on being a fast and feeless digital currency - it's a pretty clean cut approach compared to a lot of the other crypto projects out there. The lack of smart contract isn’t really a limitation in my opinion – not every crypto project needs to be a Ethereum-like platform, especially when the core use case is just as a digital currency. So I really like that they chose their guns and fucking stuck to it - too many projects are trying to be everything to everyone and that pisses me off. You know the saying, if you try to catch two rabbits, you won't catch either? Well we have cunts in this space trying to catch 100 rabbits at the same time and not catching a single one. So back to Nano - just from a technical standpoint, their directed acyclic graph-based blockchain architecture and their implementation of the "block-lattice" data structure are pretty innovative and elegant solutions to increase throughput and reduce transaction times and fees. I'm impressed by the technical merits of the project and think they've made some cool innovations. Ultimately though, the proof is in the pudding and we'll have to see how well Nano is actually adopted and used in the real world. But based on the tech alone, I'm definitely bullish on Nano and think it could be a really interesting player in the crypto space going forward. It has already proved itself with past price action, and I think history can repeat itself.
