This is an immensely difficult loss, but know that your efforts made a difference. The Arc’s advocates generated more than 500,000 contacts to Congress this year, and members of Congress from both parties spoke out against these cuts.

House Rs’ tax bill includes a new federal tax credit to subsidize private school vouchers — effectively the first nationwide voucher program. Plus, it’s structured as a costly tax break for the wealthy w/an egregious capital gains tax loophole. It should be rejected.

Students with disabilities are more likely to experience suspensions and other informal removals from school compared to their non-disabled peers. All students benefit when positive strategies are used to create a more inclusive learning environment.
