Today was hard.
60% of the girls we saw today are teen mothers.
They showed up with their babies.
Small girls.
Some were pregnant.
A heavy, despondent mood hung over the entire hall.
There’s one girl who sat quietly the entire session, she refused to take our dignity pack and she refused to eat.
We preach hope, we preach confidence, we preach dignity, we preach never giving up but today landing this gospel was hard.
My chest is still tight.
I can’t find words.
My heart is so broken.
Today was hard.

Today my car key broke at ABC Parking. I googled and found a company that repairs car keys and they come to where you are in minutes and do the work right next to you. It was a Gen Z who showed up and sorted me out all within 30 minutes. We are the ones failing these young people as a Country. They are ready to take off!
