Would you protect Edna if told that she other defenceless folk were being tormented? Would you comply with a regulator's warning that a person was implicated & unsuitable to work with vulnerable? OR would you hide that person in other #carehomes to continue abusing vulnerable?

A crucial point in #Whistlblowing cases involving malicious counter alligations against a #Whistleblower (Common Tactic) in order to distract attention from the wrongdoing & discredit the original valid concerns, usually involves "See how you like allegations being made" thinking

We will tweet all day tomorrow on the evidence @matthancock ignored. I have to stop for now as I find myself sobbing reading the reports.

Very concerning to see #WBUK exploiting grieving families in this way in order to justify the lamentable #OfficeOfTheWhistleblower We would never use such tactics, we have far too much evidence from our helpline which actually involves #whistleblowing @10DowningStreet

#InternationalEdnasDay. This post is to remember the victims of #COVID, including Residents & Care Staff. So many #whistleblowers tried desperately to protect them, to stop the reckless Government policy of patients being discharged into #carehomes where deaths were predictable

Two #police officers using weapons against a 93 year old, one-legged, wheelchair user?? Anyone who has given dementia care should know that challenging behaviour (if there even was any) is often due to fear & the person needs reassurance, not taser, baton, pepper spray. He died.
I'd like to know what sort of knife it was Ordinary dinner/ butter knife? Couldn't believe my eyes when the news came out yesterday

Today is #InternationalEdnasDay, when we highlight the innocent victims like Edna whose deaths & suffering were all preventable if whistleblowers' warnings had been acted upon, or if workers had felt safe to speak up. We start with Edna herself, who died in #BUPA Isard House

#InternationalEdnasDay In many cases we cannot give the photos or names of people who were harmed so instead we link to reports like these which represent multiple victims. compassionincare.com/breakin…

Amazing to review just some of the indepth on-going documentary film footage re the work of this charity. We were filmed at lecture on #whistleblowing 7 YEARS ago raising serious concerns that Halford Hall was NOT a #whistleblower but exploiting the genuine for own ends.
