Real-time segmentation of fibroblasts allows us to grow actin skeleton in a specified direction! Cells built @Pertzlab express optogenetic construct to activate RAC. We use @manager_micro and @napari_imaging to train a pixel classifier for segmentation on live data from scope. 🧵

There is certainly a software need for this type of microscope. We will also be working on it at the Biohub. Maybe we should do a coordinated community project? @mattersOfLight@loicaroyer
napari-micromanager is coming along thanks to amazing work from @FedeGasparoli (& help from @ianhi7919!).
w/ working @manager_micro property browser, illumination and ROI control, and a multi-D acquisition widget... all python and C with pymmcore 🎉

🔬Live-view, channel switching and exposure control in @napari_imaging! Using @manager_micro as backend. Took some tweaking to get stable framerates, but feels snappy now ⚡️
