So, my go-to Twitter clients—Tweetbot for iOS and for Mac—are no longer listed in my Connected Apps list, but Twitterrific for Mac—which I rarely use—still is, alongside other integrations. Which really makes this feel like a targeted blacklist situation (just inconsistent).
