But @GovSherrillNJ asked the private sector to step in to help @FIFAcom fans get to games without leaving NJ taxpayers holding the bag. DoorDash answered that call and this week, the Meadowlands Rail Line was officially renamed the DoorDash Meadowlands Rail Line. NJ Transit gets real revenue. Taxpayers don't get a bill. A public-private partnership that actually works 🤝

This week I met with Dashers from across California’s 21st Congressional District to discuss their experiences working in the gig economy, the importance of portable benefits, and expanding food access throughout the Central Valley.   We talked about the challenges workers face balancing flexibility, financial stability, and access to benefits while continuing to serve families and communities across our region. As more people rely on delivery services for groceries, meals, and other essentials, these conversations are important to ensuring workers are supported and families have reliable access to food. @DoorDashImpact

Tonight, I was honored to be named DoorDash's Legislator of the Year! Passing ‘No Tax on Tips’ in the Working Families Tax Cuts helps the thousands of tipped workers who dash, and I was happy to play a part in delivering historic tax relief for them, and the millions of other tipped workers in our country.
