I'm no longer going to engage with this platform. It's become a far-right home for transphobes and I can't be a part of it. Find me on Instagram - @mbrettuk for personal and performing work or @mikeybmoves for non-performance work. Bye.

Apparently attempted murder, acid attacks, burning hotels with people in and attacking police and fire services is "politically justified". Resign, you utter waste of space.
Replying to @DPJHodges
But Labour blocked the Rwanda Bill 130 times, of course it’s politically justified!

The Cass Review didn't find a single child who had been harmed by puberty blockers or rushed into them by the NHS. It speculated, without providing any evidence, that the harm of blockers might be that a child would become transgender.
Replying to @TransActualCIC
The judgement leans heavily the widely discredited Cass review. Experts at the world-class Yale School of Medicine evaluated the Cass review and report that it ‘repeatedly misuses data and violates its own evidentiary standards by resting many conclusions on speculation’.

labour are using their enormous majority to make the kind of "difficult decisions" that mean people will freeze to death in their homes, but not the kind that mean taxing billionaires

#BreakingNews Chancellor Rachel Reeves has said she is taking the “difficult decision” that those not in receipt of pension credit or other means-tested benefits will no longer receive the winter fuel payment from this year onwards

Rape is so important to israelis that attempting to punish it might kick off a civil war

Right now: Israeli Military Police arrives at Sde Timan jail to arrest soldiers for rape and torture of Palestinian detainees. Soldiers on the scene are resisting the arrests, and several government ministers and MKs are on their way to support the soldiers against police

Nigel Farage says violent language by BBC comedians and Radio 4 commentators have "encouraged" what happened to Trump and "have a lot to do with this". In other news, here's Farage in 2017 threatening to "pick up a rifle" if he didn't get the exact form of Brexit he wanted

The Greens have won 4 seats. Reform have also won 4 seats. Yet one party has had 90% more mainstream media coverage than the other. Ask yourself why.

So, like, are the media going to even mention North Herefordshire or Waveny Valley? You know, you'd think the Greens, historically viewed as very city focused, winning two rural Conservative heartlands might be something political journalists wished to discuss...

This is a wonderful, detailed, undeniable list of evidence that R*wling wants trans people to suffer. She demanded examples and then like every bad faith commenter ever she fucked off silently because her WHOLE identity is now based on being a bigoted dickhead. Fuck you.

I wonder if @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour or even @angelasmithxmp have anything to say about this? Or will she block me too?
"I was sitting in a seat just like this when Angela Smith turned to me & referred to people of colour as having a funny tinge... she's back in the party. Hows that for zero tolerance?"

this week has been a good example of how oppositions can shift the debate with a focused communications strategy: Labour spent a few days attacking its own clean air policy for no reason and now the government is moving into the political space created

Make no mistake. This is section 28 for trans youth. Imagine this said - “No coming out as gay without parental consent”. There are so many safe guarding issues with this that I can’t even begin to break it down.
