Who’s been in charge of the BBC for the last 5 years? Tories! You had Richard Sharp as Chair, Tim Davie as DG but the real villain and arch Tory remains, Sir Robbie Gibb who just happens to Chair the BBC’s remuneration committee. You reap what you sow Kevin.

If Farage and Reform are going to stop foreign and dual nationals accessing social housing and welfare benefits, why should they have to pay the same amount of tax as UK nationals? (Of course I know that it's just Farage blowing his racist dog whistle and like every other Reform policy, it'll fall apart faster than a cheap suit)

What will the excuse be this time "Reform UK’s leader is being investigated over the undeclared “security” cash from Thai-based Christopher Harborne. Now we have learned after Farage got the gift, he extended his £1.4million Surrey tree-lined pad. All of the planned works – which also included internal alterations – could cost up to £350,000, a property expert estimated." "Footage on video platform Cameo, which Farage has used to earn cash filming personalised messages, appears to show him in the extended part of the house." Asked by the Mirror how Farage funded the revamp of his Surrey house, his spokesman declined to comment.

Two new 2024 intake Labour MPs, one, Andrew Lewin is savvy enough to know that changing leader not even mid-term is idiotic. The other, Joe Morris wants KS to go and thinks Streeting or Burnham would be a big improvement. Delusional. #PoliticsLive

Just remind us which party you support? Oh yes, the Conservative Party. And who are the worst Prime Ministers since the 1900s? Liz Truss, widely regarded by many as the worst Prime Minister in modern British history. Boris Johnson, whose government was in office during the Covid pandemic, during which more than 200,000 people died in the United Kingdom. Neville Chamberlain. Given that record, perhaps lectures about political leadership should be taken with a pinch of salt, particularly from The Spectator, a Tory rag that once had Boris Johnson as its Editor.
The last Prime Minister to resign over national security was Neville Chamberlain in 1940. Eighty six years later, Sir Keir Starmer's defence secretary and armed forces minister have resigned because they believe the current PM and Chancellor of the Exchequer are endangering national security through their refusal to fund the armed services properly. The UK is ranked 31st out of 32 on a database comparing how Nato members are meeting their rearmament promises. The only country below us is Iceland, which has no armed forces. There could be no worse an accusation by a (now former) Defence Secretary. This should be climactic for Starmer. And yet there is zero possibility of him resigning in shame or, as with Chamberlain, having lost the confidence of his own MPs. ✍️ Stephen Pollard Article | spectator.com/article/keir-s…

Oh dear, our 19 year old council leader in Warwickshire has already been found to have jeopardised a child rape case and now he's under investigation again. It's almost as though he's an immature, inexperienced prick who doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.
