As the first candidate President Trump endorsed in CD-2 last November (see below), I can tell you he got it right the first time. But since I won’t be on the ballot, he made a mistake today.
Northern Nevada Republicans deserve a strong Nevada voice in this district, just as they’ve had with Barbara Vucanovich, Jim Gibbons, Dean Heller, and myself for the last 43 years. The home team has done just fine. The time has not come for a national private political organization to pick for Nevadans, who speaks for them in the U.S. House of Representatives.
I proudly voted for pure Nevada, Nevada proud, James Settelmeyer. With all due respect Mr. President, Nevada already has five representatives who live in Clark County. Your endorsement if followed, would make it six out of six. CD-2 has been especially good to you throughout your three runs. This endorsement is an incredibly curious way to say thank you to those people who have been the bedrock of your political endeavors here in original Nevada.

David Flippo should be ashamed of himself.
A family tragically died in Texas — a heartbreaking loss with ZERO connection to Nevada, ZERO connection to CD-2, and ZERO connection to the political narrative Flippo is trying to manufacture.
The suspect had no Nevada connection and did NOT possess a Nevada Driver Authorization Card, despite the misleading garbage being pushed to scare voters and exploit a tragedy for political gain.
Using the death of innocent people to deceive the public and score cheap political points is beyond disgusting. It’s manipulative, dishonest, and offensive to the victims’ family.
If David Flippo is willing to twist facts and mislead the people of Nevada just to get elected, imagine what he’ll do if he actually gets the job.
CD-2 deserves truth, leadership, and integrity; not fearmongering built on lies.

Since filing to run in NV2, the Flippo campaign first quarter filings show approx. $6600 donated from outside Nevada, and $2311 from inside Nevada. Does that count as election interference? Why the "big money" from out of state almost tripling in-state donations?

I had a GREAT visit with @SettelmeyerNV at my cigar shop on Saturday. We swapped Legislative "war stories". He's a genuinely good man. I don't think the average voter understands what really goes on when you are in a State Legislature/US Congress. It's like drinking from a fire hose every day and especially when you are in the minority. Add to that, he was the Leader of the minority at times. There are unbelievable pressures on the leader. They have to not only stop bad bills, but promote good bills AND try to win seats in the next election to get to a majority. James Settelmeyer is the ONLY candidate in #NV02 that's qualified to go to DC and represent Northern Nevada. It's not about ideology or "how Conservative" that person is, it's how well can they do the job of representing us. I have confidence in the Senator. We've fought many of the same battles although in 2 different states. These non stop attacks by one other candidate in particular smack of desperation and even more, of lack of experience. Notice Settelmeyer is not attacking anyone, just doing good clean campaign work. I admire that. If you live in this Congressional District, I urge you to vote for James Settelmeyer for Congress!

For the 40,000 acre site, lets assume its a solar farm.
@grok, what is the waste heat, in gigawatts, from a solar farm that covers a 40,000 acre site in Box Elder County Utah assuming standard solar panels, and 100% coverage? How much is that same thermal load in TeraJoules?
