US official confirms that President Biden has signed off on the use of American long range weapons by the Ukrainians in and around the Kharkiv area, meaning for the first time the President has lifted his own restrictions so that the Ukrainian military can strike targets inside Russia to protect Ukraineβs second largest city from the ongoing Russian assault. The appropriate members of Congress have been briefed, I am told. The news was reported by Politico.

I led a 40 person wilderness search and rescue mission in Virginia wearing a pair of unhemmed uniform pants that got caught on the briars. The entire left leg unstitched up to my belt, and I had to duct tape my pants back together.
I take tailoring more seriously now.
