वेद के वेदत्व और उसकी सर्वाङ्गपूर्णता पर न केवल भारतीय विद्वान अपितु पाश्चात्य जगत् भी मोहित एवं मुग्ध है। जिन्होंने विमल वैदिक ज्ञान के अन्वेषण में अपना समय, श्रम, और शक्ति व्यय की है, उन सभी व्यक्तियों ने वेद के अलौकिक ज्ञान की प्रशंसा भी की है। यहाँ कुछ सम्मतियाँ दी जाती हैं:- 1. प्रो. हीरेन(pro. Heeren) महोदय लिखते हैं- The Vedas stand alone in their solitary splendour serving as beacon of Divine Light for the onward March of humanity. ------historical Researches Vol. 2P. 127 2. लार्ड मोर्ल ने घोषणा की:- जो कुछ वेदों में मिलता है, वह अन्यत्र कहीं नही है। 14 जुलाई 1884 को पेरिस में आयोजित अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय साहित्य संघ(International Literary Association) के समक्ष निबन्ध पढते हुये फ्रांसदेशीय विद्वान लेओ देल्बो(Mons. Leon Delbos) ने कहा था- The Rigveda is the most sublime conception of the great highways of humanity. -हरबिलास शारदा Hindu superiority 3. उबिनगन विश्वविद्यालय के प्रो. पाल थीम ने 26वीं अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्राच्य सभा(26th International Congress of Orientalists) में अपने अध्यक्षीय भाषण में कहा था:- The Vedas are noble documents- documents not only of value and pride to India but to the entire humanity because in them we see man attempting to lift himself above the earthly existence. -------Hindustan Times, 6th January 1964 4. प्रसिद्ध आइरिश कवि और दार्शनिक डा. जेम्स क्युजन अपनी पुस्तक Path to peace (शांति का मार्ग) में लिखते हैं:- On that(Vedic) ideal alone, with its inclusiveness which absorbs and annihilates the causes of antogonisms, its sympathy which wins hatred away from itself, it is possible to rear a new earth in image and likeness of the eternal heavens. -- Path to Peace by Dr. James Cousins p. 60 5. थ्योरी नामक अमेरिकन विद्वान के मुख से वेद की महिमा इन शब्दों में निस्सरित हुई थी:- What extracts from the Vedas I have read fall on me like the light of a higher and purer luminary which describes a loftier course through a purer stratum - free from particular, simple, universal, the Vedas contain a sensible account of God. -- स्वामी ओंकार लिखित mother America पृष्ठ 9 से उद्धत 6. श्री डबल्यू. डी. ब्राऊन(W.D. Brown) महोदय ने वैदिक धर्म के विषय में निम्न उदगार व्यक्त किये हैं:- It (Vedic Religion) recognises but one God. It is a thoroughly scientific religion, where religion and science meet hand in hand. Here theology is based upon science and philosophy. --- The Superiority of the Vedic Religion 7. वेदों में वैज्ञानिक आविष्कारों की सत्ता स्वीकार करते हुये अमरीकी महिला ह्वीलर विलौक्स ने लिखा:- We have all heard and read about the ancient religion of India. It is the land of the great Vedas- the most remarkable works containing not only religious ideas for a perfect life, but also facts which all the science has since proved true. electricity, Radium, Electrons, Airships all seem to be known to the seers who found the Vedas. ------ Sublimity of the Vedas P. 83 8. प्रसिद्ध फारसी विद्वान फर्दून दादा चानजी वेदों की महिमा का वर्णन करते हुये लिखते हैं:- The Vedas is a book of knowledge and wisdom comprising the Book of Nature, the Book of Religion, the Book of Prayers, the Book of Morals and so on. The word "Vedas" means wit, wisdom, knowledge and truly the Vedas is codensed wit, wisdom and knowledge. ----- Philosophy of Zoroastrianism P. 100 9. फ्रांस के प्रसिद्ध विद्वान वाल्टेयर का मत है:- " केवल इसी देन(यजुर्वेद) के लिये पश्चिम पूर्व का ॠणी रहेगा।" 10. फ्रांस देश के अन्य विद्वान जैकालियट ने अपने ग्रन्थ The Bible of India में लिखा है:- Astonishing fact!
