For those who were so concerned about inflation in the run-up to the 2024 election, the inflation rate was 2.9% during Biden's last year in office. Today, with Donald and the White House in charge of the economy, inflation has risen to 4.2%. 4.2 > 2.9

Donald Trump is doing everything in his power to silence your voice. This is what happens when authoritarians are desperate to hold on to power.

Reporter: Are you concerned, Mr. President, about the latest inflation number which came out this morning? Trump: No, I love it. I love the inflation.

Just ignore them, they seem to be confusing you with Don Jr. Guy loves the booger sugar.

So let me get this straight. Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom. Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land. Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan. Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted. And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?” Please.

Rubio: I have never seen Trump fall asleep. Lieu: I’m going to show you a video that shows you just lied to congress. Here is a video of him asleep while you are talking.

Recent retiree Greg Bovino traveled to Portugal to attend a Nazi conference, gave an interview citing Nazi general Erwin Rommel as an inspirational figure, and wore his regulation SS haircut. When is it ok to start calling them Nazis? Or is that still too polarizing?

Ossoff: He’s trying to put his face on the money. He's building a monument to himself . But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now because no one will honor him when he’s gone… because he's a failed president and a national disgrace.

🚨BREAKING: Right-wing streamer Cam Higby was caught on video walking up to a group of protesters and pepper spraying multiple people, outside the Newark ICE Facility. Then, as people reacted to being sprayed, an armed man pulled him away, telling him, “It’s not worth it… it’s time to go.” Last time I checked… walking up to a group of people and spraying them with a chemical irritant is commonly charged as assault or battery. And then, after spraying the crowd, the video show Higby, and the armed man, running into the ICE facility while agents allowed them inside. Imagine the outrage if a left-wing activist walked up to a group of conservatives, pepper sprayed them, and then disappeared behind federal gates. The headlines would never stop. The law is supposed to apply equally to everyone.

Republicans in North Carolina just proposed a bill that says if a woman is caught with an IUD or attempts to get an abortion then men are allowed to use DEADLY FORCE to try and stop her. They are proposing a bill that will allow men to kill women for using birth control. It’s House Bill 1232. Keith Kidwell is the Republican who proposed the bill. He claims it counts as self defense to use deadly force to stop abortion. This is a man who claims to be pro life. Feel free to give his office a call and let him know how you feel about his opinion. And for anyone who says “obviously this will never get passed” that’s not the point. The point is it’s fucking insanity that a government official would even try to make a law like this. It’s insanity that there are men out there who are trying to make it legal to kill women for making decisions for their own bodies. This is real and it’s happening right now in front of our eyes.

Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core. The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old. It had fewer than 50 employees. And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it. Here is the part the administration tried to bury. Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast. One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done. Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion. A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son. This is public money. Your money. Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for. And there is more coming. A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review. This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer. propublica.org/article/donal…

“Law and order” comes with an exception clause for MAGA politicians. Trump just posted a letter from five Republican members of Congress asking him to pardon former Congressman Steve Buyer. Buyer was convicted of insider trading by a jury and sentenced to prison. The letter doesn’t dispute that. So for regular people, it’s a felony. For Republican politicians, it’s a character reference.

🚨 HOLY SHIT. A U.S. citizen just testified before the Senate that ICE agents ignored his passport, detained him, placed him on suicide watch, and released him WITHOUT charges or explanation. Read that again. An AMERICAN CITIZEN says he showed agents his passport multiple times… and still ended up locked in a cell under 24/7 lights, stripped naked, wearing a hospital gown while guards watched him constantly. His family reportedly had no idea where he was. Then after all of that? No charges. No explanation. Just released.

There is no world in which this is okay.     Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving Trump’s Treasury Department while his own son was secretly working there as a political appointee and attorney.    His son's employment was hidden so thoroughly that his name appears nowhere on the Treasury Department website, he has no public resume, and his bar listings are outdated.    If Alito had recused himself, the secret would have come out. He didn’t recuse himself.    This is a clear conflict of interest, and the American people deserved to know about it.    The federal recusal standard is clear: a justice must step aside in any case where there is a reasonable basis to question whether he or she can be impartial. A justice ruling on cases involving the department where his son works fails that test. The Treasury Department sits at the center of some of the biggest legal fights of this administration, and challenges to Trump’s $1.776 billion January 6 slush fund could be headed to the Court next.    The Supreme Court is the only court in America with no binding code of conduct. That is completely unacceptable, and it has to change NOW.    Congress controls the Power of the Purse, and therefore the Court’s funding. If the Court will not adopt a binding code of conduct with real recusal review on their own, I support withholding their funding until they do.   notus.org/us-news/samuel-phi…
