Yes, it's really happening
Gonna start a conference called #NormIPS that’s just presentations of middlebrow ML topics. “how to structure Python packages 2022”, “how many k-folds is too many”, “how to make the browser pop-up come up when the notebook is done running”, “putting features in Postgres”, etc.

There is a conference for exactly that. It’s called @normconf and it’s the best damn conference for engineers there is. See you all next year for NormConf 2024!
anyone got any ml conferences that are taking papers on how hard it is to correctly forward ports in docker

For example, he turns all st.markdown into bold text by hacking the protobuf sent from the server to the webapp
