Today is National Chess Day! ♟️ IMLS Senior Program Officer Madison Bolls is visiting @WeaverLibrary in Rhode Island, where they developed a chess space with literary resources near their teen space, since chess is understood in all languages.

In partnership with the Providence Veterans Center, the library is now offering gun locks to the community, free of charge. Each cable lock comes packaged with instructions for use, along with resources from the Veterans Crisis Line. Ask for a free gun lock at the circ desk.
