One detail from this story: the AI finding credentials laying around. I have moved to scrub all credentials stored anywhere in plaintext on my system. No more .env, no more ~/.aws/credentials, etc. I use fnox with a 1password backend.
Met @rishi75 the karta-dharta of @walkingproject. The amount of work these people do for advocacy and to further the cause of walking in Mumbai is astonishing. And their inroads and relationships with the authorities give me hope that we will see more wins on the ground.
On top of that Rishi is a truly public spirited individual. Top guy. Lekin keval public spirit se kaam nahi hota. The Walking Project needs money.
So I’m asking yall to head to walkingproject.org/donate and drop some cash there. Don’t let the people who’re fighting for you feel alone and get tired.
They’re asking for a modest Rs.365 per year but please give more. A lot more. Goal is to raise 7L in February.
Well I never posted this on Twitter but as you can see from the photos I have joined the amazing team at Shuru and was lucky to meet the whole team last weekend in Delhi and the energy was crazy!! Looking forward to the exciting times ahead :) #IamShuru
Been rarely active here lately. Have been in trenches building this solid team of AI Native engineers helping startups and enterprises across the world. Extremely grateful for this bunch and excited for the future. Here are some pics from our recent team outing. #IamShuru
Back to the grind! 💪
Happy 30th anniversary to Ruby, the language that made @Rails possible, and continues to inspire developers and contributors around the world. #rubyrelease30th#Ruby4
I had always seen the memes around Garmin never being impressed and I experienced it first hand. Garmin always gives you a reality check (more like shock🤣)
Note that Ulaa is touted as a privacy-first/secure alternative to other browsers.
But it is inherently LESS SECURE compared to most browsers because it includes the root cert of CCA India. This cert was thrown out of most browsers in 2014 because NIC issued fake certificates for many domains including google.
CCA/NIC are owned by the govt and it is very easy for them to man-in-the-middle tap into anything you are doing with Ulaa browser.
Google ruthlessly monitors and remove certs that fall out of any security compliance and thus removed India/China's and does not include US govt operated root CA certs as well.
👑Ulaa is officially #1 in Utilities on the App Store!🌟
Every download, every share, every click brought us here. We’re proud to deliver a privacy-first, secure browsing experience😇🚀
Thank you for being an essential part of this journey! 🙏
