Okay this is genuinely insane. SpaceX just unveiled a satellite whose only job is to run AI. Not internet. Not GPS. Just compute, floating in orbit. It's called AI1, and the reason behind it breaks your brain. AI data centers on Earth are hitting a wall, not a chip wall, a physics wall. They need staggering amounts of power and water just to stay cool, and we're running out of grid and land to build them. So Musk's answer is: stop building them on Earth. In orbit, the sun never sets. Free power, 24/7. No water for cooling, you just radiate heat into the vacuum of space. The two things choking AI on the ground barely exist up there. And here's the wild part: Musk says it's easier to build than a Starlink satellite. Strip out the complex antennas and it's "a lot of solar cells, a radiator, and some laser links." One AI1 carries the compute of an Nvidia GB300 rack, the same hardware data centers fight over down here. AI1 is just the first one. The plan is a constellation of up to a million of them. And the timing isn't an accident, SpaceX goes public this week at a ~$1.75 trillion target. This isn't a rocket company anymore. It's positioning itself as the power grid for AI, in space. The race for AI compute just left the planet. Literally. @SpaceX

We are incredibly excited to announce River AI. Our mission is to create personal AI that is owned and shaped by you. Today’s best AIs are controlled by a few large corporations. We are building the alternative: a new, personal stack for AI that works entirely for you, shares your values, and operates on your terms.

If the West decides AI has rights, the AI race is over. We’ll drown ourselves in moral panic, lawsuits, and self-imposed limits while China keeps building. They will not handicap themselves by pretending machines are people. We shouldn’t either.

This is biblical. A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years. Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin. She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.

Whenever I don’t use codex for a task, I ask myself why and usually realize that there’s some missing context, I needed to write a skill, or I just didn’t think to use it. Rarely is it because the task is outside of the capabilities of the model. Overhang right now feels large.

Welp, that happened faster than I predicted. Thought it would be end of 2027, then early 2027, but agentic traffic growing so fast that bots have now passed human traffic online for the first time in the Internet's history. radar.cloudflare.com/traffic…

Introducing Project Eden, a world model research preview from @VASTAIResearch Project Eden is a persistent, multiplayer world model that fundamentally breaks from existing paradigms by decoupling the underlying world state from visual rendering. Instead of treating the world as a sequence of transient frames, Eden treats it as a structured, evolving environment that runs continuously, can be modified by user actions, and can be consistently observed from any viewpoint.

Gemini Spark might be the most impressive AI announcement of this year. No joke. That's a real autonomous agent available 24/7 in Gemini - Can grab context from Gmail, Web, Drive, etc. - Work autonomously on any task - Available even from your phone And we're NOT talking about something coming next year. But next week!

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

People freaking out over my AI spend. What nobody sees: Part of what excites me so much about working on OpenClaw is that I'm trying to answer the question: How would we build software in the future if tokens don't matter? We constant run ~100 codex in the cloud, reviewing every PR, every issue. If a fix on main lands, @clawsweeper will eventually find that 6 month old issue and close it with an exact reference. We run codex on every commit to review for security issues (as it's far too easy to miss). We run codex to de-duplicate issues and find clusters and send reports for the most pressing issues. We have agents that can recreate complex setups, spin up ephemeral crabbox.sh machines, log into e.g. Telegram, make a video and post before/after fix on the PR. There's codex that watch new issues and - if it fits our documented vision well, automatically create a PR of it. (that then another codex reviews) We have codex running that scans comments for spam and blocks people. We have codex instances running that verify performance benchmarks and report regressions into Discord. We have agents that listen on our meetings and proactively start work, e.g. create PRs when we discuss new features while we discuss them. We build clawpatch.ai to split all our projects into functional units to review and find bugs and regresssions. We do the same split for security with Vercel's deepsec and Codex Security to find regressions and vulnerabilities. All that automation allows us to run this project extremely lean.

Researchers bypassed Apple’s multi billion dollar memory safety system in just 5 days using Anthropic’s Mythos Preview AI. This is crazy..

❗️🚨 BREAKING: Researchers used Mythos Preview to find the first public macOS kernel memory corruption exploit on Apple's M5 silicon, they give a glimpse into Mythos say it’s really powerful. Apple spent five years and an estimated several billion dollars building Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE), the hardware-assisted memory safety system built around ARM's MTE. It was the flagship security feature of the M5 and A19, designed specifically to kill the entire memory corruption bug class. Researchers from Calif built a working exploit in five days. According to Apple's own research, MIE disrupts every public exploit chain against modern iOS, including the recently leaked Coruna and Darksword kits. Calif walked into Apple Park this week and handed over the report in person. Full 55-page technical report drops after Apple patches the vulnerability.

So this is amazing and a good example of how powerful /goal is I’ve got it running on a Erdős math problem at 5 hours now where previously without goal it would lazily give up. Creating a good goal is the hard part, give it your hardest challenges
WTF after over 30 hours on a /goal my codex has created a fully playable doom in 6,715,567.0375 lines of code it created an entire graphics system for it and made it fully in the CLI, and its around 99% brainfuck (basically 1's and 0's) 👇(replies)

One of the things that made the Mythos release hard to interpret is that Anthropic held back details on most vulns they found, to give defenders time to patch. 1 month later, info from orgs with access to Mythos is starting to trickle out, e.g. this post from Mozilla today:
