💢 Israeli drone activity and attacks continued across southern Lebanon on Tuesday: ➤ In the past few hours, sustained Israeli artillery bombardment has targeted the outskirts of the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh. “For people here, the war didn’t end. Israel, they believe, wants to occupy more areas,” Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported from the field. ➤ Press TV’s correspondent said Israeli forces were shelling Ali al-Taher Hill, a strategic high ground they are seeking to advance toward. ➤ An Israeli attack targeted a van on the road between the villages of Hadatha and Hariss in Bint Jbeil district, a rural border region of southern Lebanon across from northern Israel. A drone also dropped a stun grenade in Hadatha, lightly injuring four people. ➤ Israeli drones carried out three consecutive strikes on the village of Mifdoun, east of Nabatieh, while residents were inspecting earlier damage. No casualties were reported, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency. ➤ Israeli drones were also reported flying at low altitude over Beirut and its southern suburbs.
Heavy Israeli attacks on areas between Nabatieh and Nabatieh Fawqa continues: Artillery shelling and drone strikes are used. Despite this Nabatieh city has many of its residents returned to stay in their homes. The destruction in some of the eastern and southern parts is massive. In the second video, Israeli strikes on Mayfadoun town, nearby Nabatieh overlooking parts of Hujeir valley, lead to many civilian casualties. Artillery and drone strikes are trying to prevent people from returning. In the hospital today i met a man from Safa family from there with serious injuries in his hand, caused by artillery shelling. He was trying to check on his business. This means Israelis are insisting on occupying by fire areas even in North of Litani. We hope our resistance will respond to these terrorist attacks.

Dear lordships, - 100 RTI users have been killed for exposing corruption & thousands attacked and harassed- SC is silent. - The Whistleblowers Protection Act passed in 2014 not implemented till date- SC is silent. But every few days the SC berates RTI activists and calls them names- cockroaches, busy bodies, and today the Court is asking who are citizens to monitor public works! Perhaps your lordships need to be reminded that in a democracy citizens are sovereign and tax payers have a right to know how their money is spent. Courts should deal with individual cases on merit without passing derogatory remarks about those who hold power to account.
The Supreme Court today(May 15) denied anticipatory bail to an RTI activist accused of obstructing a public servant in connection with the construction of a road. Read more: zurl.co/bGz7E #SupremeCourt

One of the greatest threats to internet freedom and privacy are these manipulative laws, now spreading, that force people to prove they're of a certain age to use social media platforms and other sites. The UK Government, naturally, is now seeking this. The defense of these laws is emotionally powerful by appealing to child protection, but the real goal is online surveillance, an end to anonymity, and control over political content that young people can access. Few have done a better job reporting on these tyrannical threats than @TaylorLorenz. Read this:
“Instead of addressing the known causes of strife among young people, politicians around the world seem intent on leveraging their suffering to push laws that will strip both young and old alike of our rights.”

Israel flattened Beirut in 1982. No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then. Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians. Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”. They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons. Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade. Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick. Own it.

We all are fodder for Ethanol. Today I would have been a sacrifice to the government lust for ethanol. Ever since start of Iran war there has been a sudden degradation of the quality of petrol and my car engine and exhaust makes noises time to time. Today while driving in the mountains suddenly my engine malfunctioned in the middle of the road and my car got stuck. I was horrified. Thankfully there was not much traffic or some truck coming at speed otherwise I would have been in the newspaper tomorrow. This Ethanol mess has destroyed countless engines. This needs to be investigated. We are looking at an economic collapse of the car market and an escalation of accidents. Kindly raise your voice against Ethanol.

As I said, people with powerful platforms say things -- right here on X -- infinitely worse than what this 19-year-old said in that email. Yet they face no consequences -- let alone DOJ threats of retributions -- because their target was different: x.com/stratospark/status/206…

A kid said something dumb and now they're trying to ruin his life forever. For future reference, here is how you should post if you want to get ahead in life and face no consequences whatsoever.

A 19-year-old college student quietly turns down a job interview, stupidly telling the company it's because he doesn't want to work for a Jew. Within two days: -- The billionaire founder of one of the world's most powerful corporations (Palantir) demands that the company release his the student's to the world. The company instantly complies. -- National media trumpet the incident and spread the student's name and face all over the place. -- A senior Trump DOJ official repeatedly urges the public to notify him if that student is ever hired anywhere in the future, promising to use his office to keep the student permanently unemployable. Adults with large, influential platforms -- pundits, media types, even elected officials -- right here on X routinely say things as bad as, and often much worse than, pretty much every other group you can think of without facing a single consequence let alone a completely unhinged coordinated campaign of very powerful people to run their lives forever:

⭕️ Palestinian prisoner Imad Rajih Sarhan, 47, from Haifa, has died in Israel’s Gilboa Prison, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club. 🔸The rights groups said Sarhan, imprisoned since 2001 and serving a life sentence, suffered years of torture, medical neglect, and repeated solitary confinement, leaving him with chronic heart and vascular disease, high blood pressure, and eventually requiring a wheelchair. They said Israeli authorities informed his family he died after suffering a heart attack, but provided no further details. 🔸The organizations said Sarhan is the 90th Palestinian prisoner whose death has been announced since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza, with many more likely dead, and the 327th documented prisoner death in Israeli custody since 1967. They echoed international NGOs, saying Israel’s prison system is carrying out a policy of “slow executions” through torture, starvation, and medical neglect, and called for international action and accountability. 🔸According to prisoner advocacy groups, more than 9,400 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons, including 3,324 administrative detainees and 1,316 classified as “unlawful combatants” — all without charge or trial.

⭕️ REPORT | Israel has killed 987 Palestinians and launched more than 1,450 airstrikes and shelling attacks since agreeing to a “ceasefire” in Gaza last October Israeli forces have carried out at least 3,224 ceasefire violations across Gaza since the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, according to a report shared by the Palestinian side with mediators and obtained by Drop Site News. 🔸Field Attacks🔸 Wednesday alone saw 12 armed field incidents, including repeated artillery and naval attacks across the Strip: 🔹 Israeli artillery shelled northern Gaza 🔹 Artillery shelling east of Deir al-Balah 🔹 23-year-old Faten Faisal Odeh Al-Arouqi was wounded by Israeli live fire east of Al-Maghazi Camp 🔹 Israeli warships opened fire toward the beaches and coastline of Gaza City in two separate incidents 🔹 Israeli artillery shelled northeastern Gaza City 🔹 Two civilians were wounded by Israeli warship fire west of Al-Nuseirat 🔹 Artillery shelling east of Khan Younis in two separate attacks 🔹 Ahmad Rafiq Al-Batsh was abducted by armed militias operating under the protection of the Israeli army east of Gaza City’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood The UN-backed @BoardOfPeace has not condemned a single attack. Since the “ceasefire” took effect, 987 Palestinians have been killed, including 236 children, 110 women, and 30 elderly people, while 3,109 have been wounded, nearly half of them children, women, or elderly. A total of 95 civilians have also been newly abducted. Israel also continues to hold approximately 34 square kilometers beyond agreed withdrawal lines and has blocked repairs to electricity, water, and sewage infrastructure. Aid and movement restrictions remain severe: 🔸Rafah crossing🔸 ▪️ Only 6,674 of 19,400 planned crossings have been carried out (~34.4%) ▪️ 88 individuals have been turned back at the crossing ▪️ Gaza’s Health Ministry says roughly 20,000 patients are awaiting Israeli approval to leave the Strip for treatment abroad, and that about 10 die each day while waiting. 🔸Aid entry🔸 ▪️ Only ~36.1% of agreed humanitarian aid has entered, averaging about 217 trucks per day compared with the 600 agreed under the ceasefire ▪️ Fuel deliveries remain at just 14.7% of required levels ▪️ The WFP estimates 77% of Gaza’s population faces acute food insecurity, including 100,000 children and 37,000 pregnant women suffering from acute malnutrition, amid what MSF in May 2026 described as a “manufactured malnutrition crisis.” 📸 Central Gaza, Maghazi Refugee Camp tonight (Thursday) after new Israeli air strike. This is what the UK spyware proposal means. There must be government spyware on every mobile device. It shall watch everything that happens, including always watching the screen, looking for things the government disapproves of. When anything is flagged by the software as something the government doesn't like, the software must block it from being sent or displayed (in realtime). The user of the device must not be able to shut this watching and blocking off. The only way to shut it off would be to ask the government or its proxies to do so for you, at their discretion. Therefore the whole device must be locked down. Administrator rights and the decision of what software or operating system to run or not to run must be taken from the owner/user and handed to the government and its proxies. Apple and Google are themselves working hard to lock down the devices they are involved in to shut out competition and establish a duopoly. The UK government says it is "working closely" with Apple and Google and currently they synchronise and coordinate their communication on this subject. The UK government is now proposing to mandate what would otherwise be illegal anti-competitive practices. @GrapheneOS on the Apple and Google duopoly: x.com/GrapheneOS/status/2053… Statement from @signalapp x.com/signalapp/status/20640… @ReclaimTheNetHQ on the state spyware: reclaimthenet.org/starmer-ca… The government announcement: gov.uk/government/news/new-p…

Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all. signal.org/blog/pdfs/2026-06…
