You've been in love with your crush for 3 months now. You keep meaning to ask her out, but you just can't bring yourself to ask her on a date
At the bar you see a bald 5'9 goblin approach her. She leaves with him after 2m talking
What'd he have that you don't?
Brain damage
It has simply never occurred to any mainstream media journalist that fact that key Republican priorities are dangerous & unpopular may have played some role in their recent string of electoral losses.
What's clear now is that the upper crust of conservatives really do want to move on from Trump, and they're going to be confused when the slobbering feral base refuses to let them.
probably not going to happen but seems like political press should devote some of that “are democrats hopelessly out of touch” energy to a republican party that still struggles to build anything like a national majority for its program

The New York Times has *again* allowed a politician to spew total misinformation about "bail reform" causing crime. The NYT knows that exactly the opposite is true, and it printed the lies anyway without quoting anyone to correct it. This is how fascist fear-mongering spreads.
ALT Robert F. Holden, a Democratic City Councilman from Queens who endorsed Mr. Zeldin, said on Saturday that having more officers on the subway would not help reduce crime if lawmakers did not also fix bail reform.
“This is welcome news, but without changing laws, these additional cops will only be rearresting the same people,” he said. “Gov. Kathy Hochul must call an emergency session of the State Legislature and repeal bail reform.”
Lefties: Please take politics outside theory talk seriously. The party that's in power affects who gets nominated to SCOTUS. Trump got 3 inside within 4 years. Revolution is nor spontaneous. We have to take advantage of electoral politics to our own ends.
