As DHS continues to strip unaccompanied minors of their safety and immigrants of legal protections, they are deploying ICE agents to raid and intimidate legal service providers and organizations.   As fascists do, the Trump administration is weaponizing the government to supress dissent and scare us into surrending our rights. But they won't succeed.   No matter who is at the helm, DHS is a weapon. It can't be reformed. We must abolish ICE and dismantle DHS.

Virginia advanced Americans' civil right to marry, legalizing interracial marriage across the country.   Today, as multiracial and mixed status families are still the target of white supremacist attacks, we must remember the power we have to fight for our civil rights. Last night, Republicans gave Trump an additional $70 billion for DHS's mass deportation campaign. The same campaign that has resulted in abductions and kidnappings, the militarization of our cities, the murder of our neighbors, the persecution of dissent, and the rise of fascism in our nation. Republicans are complicit in the terror ICE and CBP have unleashed on our communities. But the fight is not over; we must continue working to abolish ICE and dismantle DHS!
