Riders deserve better. That's why I'm leading 32 of my California colleagues with @repzoelofgren, urging Congressional leadership to hold rideshare companies accountable if a rider or driver is injured on their watch. Drivers trying to earn a living and riders who want to get to their next destination all deserve a safe ride, and they deserve to be made whole if they are hurt along the way.

214 House Republicans just voted to send $70 billion more to ICE and CBP with no guardrails to stop their misconduct. That’s on top of the $140 billion they already gave them last year.
Nothing to help lower the cost of living. It’s outrageous.
