When we say Kyiv is winning the information war, far too often we only mean information spaces we inhabit.
Pulling apart the most obvious RU info op to date (as we did using semantic modelling), very clear it is targeting BRICS, Africa, Asia. Not the West really at all.

I analysed the results of the scraping work by @billpg in detail, and compared it to results from Wikidata. So how does Wikidata hold up to scraping Wikipedia?

A person wrote a spider and scraper, crawling over thousands of pages of HTML, checked links and names, went through the data, needed to do quite a bit of data cleansing, etc. All valiant and great.

I love having CSV but don't always love working with it! We've been using the new(ish) @w3c standard for "CSV on the Web" at @Swirrl and I'm quite excited by the potential for having linked-data in familiar tabular formats.
