Common conceptions of romantic love suggest that it is associated with increased sexual activity in newer relationships. However, a study of people in relationships of <2 years finds that intensity of romantic love doesn't predict sexual frequency at all. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…

I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.  I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.

From someone who has studied this field for over 2 decades, I can comfortably say that virtually everything said here is inaccurate. It is incredibly disturbing to me that someone claiming to be a scientist can talk with such authority on something they clearly know nothing about

don’t really see anyone talking about this but: arrestees at CUNY were charged with *felonies* while arrestees at Columbia were charged with misdemeanors. nobody should be charged with anything but it is a travesty that poorer & racialized students bear the brunt of this struggle

Do elements with rounded shapes enhance click-through rates? Maybe; the two controlled experiments that supposedly justify this claim are not trustworthy. A fun exercise is to see if you can identify why the two A/B tests in the paper are flawed, just from the relevant paragraphs in the paper.
