Hey #KOT #KOX #KenyansOnX #KenyansOnTwitter , I made this chrome extension that changes the president's name to one of his nicknames. To me, it's a form of protest, a reminder that he really isn't who he sold himself to be. Try it out here: chromewebstore.google.com/de…

This is a very painful State of Affairs. I have been fighting deportations and unfair treatment of Stateless Persons for over two years in court. Yet, someone is auctioning I.Ds for 15,000/=. We have a very poor performing national security personnel.

My classmates conducted a legal aid session at Makueni (Wote) Prison, and the report is shocking. What do you mean we still have people who were arrested during protests serving jail terms because they cannot afford fines? A fine of Ksh 334? Wah.

#AccesstoInformation.@HakiKNCHR Where can the public access the Reparations Framework Report? Victims, survivors, their families, and the Kenyan public should not have to rely on summaries and speeches to understand a process of this magnitude. The report should be published in full to enable public scrutiny, informed engagement, and meaningful participation. Its findings and recommendations are particularly important as Kenya continues to grapple with the need for a clear legal framework on reparations that centres victims' rights, accountability, recognition, and justice.
A landmark step toward national healing: @HakiKNCHR Chairperson Ms. Claris Ogangah today presented the Reparations Framework Report to H.E. President Dr. @WilliamsRuto Highlighting the human impact of the work, Ms. Ogangah stated: "The stories captured in the Reparations Framework Report remind us that behind every statistic is a human being, a family and a community whose suffering has often remained unseen and unacknowledged. By giving voice to these experiences, the Report contributes to a national process of healing founded on truth, recognition, and remembrance."

🚨 Case Update: High Court of Kenya Grants Conservatory Orders in the Matter of Brian Bright Tamuka Kagoro ⚖️ The High Court of Kenya has granted conservatory orders in favour of Brian Bright Tamuka Kagoro, pending the hearing and determination of a Constitutional Petition challenging his detention and deportation from Kenya in February 2026. The Petition, filed by the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) alongside partner organisations, raises important constitutional and human rights questions relating to due process, freedom of movement, and the rule of law. The interim orders provide safeguards against any future arbitrary denial of entry while the Court considers the substantive issues before it. This development underscores the importance of judicial oversight, accountability, and the protection of fundamental rights across Africa. The substantive Petition remains pending before the Court. @TamukaKagoro77 @LawSocietyofKe @ICJ_Africa @OpenSocietyAfr @katibainstitute @ealawsociety

Kenya could be staring at one of the most serious national security threats in recent history as foreigners obtain Kenyan identity cards and passports through rogue networks operating both in and out of the government. For weeks, The Standard infiltrated the dangerous networks and uncovered how rogue officials within the Immigration Department and the National Registration Bureau facilitate this dubious syndicate, allowing nationals from countries such as Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi and Uganda to acquire Kenyan identity documents without proper vetting, scrutiny or verification, driven by bribery and corruption. ow.ly/lIFB50ZbAOR

Someone has been doing a very good job of trying to kill this story in the local media. Barely reported. As reported, the vehicle, KCQ 222X, belongs to Dawamu School, owned by Phillip Waithaka and his wife Claudia Waithaka. Their son, Kinuthia Waithaka was driving. Allegedly they came to the accident scene and took their child, left the rest. They allegedly have tried to say that a 34 year old relative was driving but witnesses from that night have refuted that claim. Full story here: kenyanbulletin.com/death-of-…
The night of April 24 was expected to be one of the happiest in the lives of the Peponi School A-Level Class of 2026. By 3:50am the following morning, however, the mood had changed dramatically. A police constable at Karen Police Station’s radio room received an alert of a serious accident along Ngong Road. He and a colleague immediately called for an ambulance while heading to the scene. zurl.co/zs5Xc

On Monday, police shot four unarmed students from Multimedia University inside their campus. The officers involved are reportedly from a special unit linked to abductions and extrajudicial killings. The incident was captured on camera, and a journalist who covered the story has already received veiled threats to stop exposing them or risk being harmed. That same day in Laikipia, police shot and killed two people during protests against the construction of an anti-Ebola facility. One of the victims was 16-year-old Sylvester Ndung’u, a Form Three student. On Friday, suspected government-hired goons stormed a budget dialogue forum at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi, attacking participants and robbing some of them. On Saturday in Kakamega, government goons attacked a school bus carrying children returning from a music festival, injuring several pupils. Mr Violence Ruto is brutalizing our children and attacking the soul of the nation. This must stop. We must unite now to demand an immediate end to the killings. Na sio tafadhali! #RutoStopKillingUs #HakiSASA #JusticeNOW
