Greetings, President Trump, You may have secured a temporary deal, but you've shaken the trust of almost everyone around you except perhaps JD Vance and Iran's Supreme Leader. Attacking friends who stood with you in wartime while defending an enemy that attacked both of you is how nations stop trusting you, even if they keep smiling for the cameras. The way many of us, including me, see it, Israel is America's biggest ally in the Middle East. Telling Israel not to hit Hezbollah for the sake of a deal with Iran is like telling America not to hit al-Qaeda because you're negotiating with Hamas. And a deal that lasts only 60 days? That's not diplomacy, that's a ceasefire with an expiry date shorter than a carton of milk.

โญ•๏ธI understand that the interests of the US are not always aligned with Israel's, but as an American, it frustrates me when people don't recognize that this surrender deal is the worst thing that could happen to US national security and its standing in the world. Every bad actor now knows the US's weak spot, and all they need to do is exploit it without firing a single bulletโ€”America will fold. Countries in the Middle East and beyond now realize they can no longer rely on the US and must seek other ways to defend their interests. Trump running away from war will only have war chasing him. "Peace by surrender" didn't work in World War II, and it won't work now. Unfortunately, the cult cheerleaders are too dumb to understand this.

What a rotten deal we made with Iran. We get nothing (except laughter at our stupidity). They get everything, including delay and big cash!

Barack Obamaโ€™s foreign policy of appeasement is in part what made so many of us thirsty for an administration that will NOT BEND THE KNEE to the Mullas, tyrants & radical regimes. We were promised CHANGE from that approach & we voted for it. This administrationโ€™s actions in Iran serve as a mysterious betrayal to millions of Americans who believed in the promises that were made. The America I know & love DOES NOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS. The America I know & love DOES NOT SIDELINE our best ALLIES. The America I know & love DOES NOT ABANDON trapped innocent civilians willing to die for freedom. This is an unacceptable setback that is impossible to reverse.

The change in talking points is astonishing. A few weeks ago it was that it doesnโ€™t matter if the SoH opens and we have all the leverage. Now Trump basically admits Tehran blackmailed him into giving everything they wanted because they controlled the strait. Which btw incentivizes them to keep increasing their demands using same leverage. In the same press conference, Trump defended not having any enforcement mechanism in the deal and even allowing the leading sponsor of terror continue their ballistics missile program. Not to mention giving them full sanctions relief with little in return. The Obama deal at least requires specific nuclear commitments for the financial relief. Trump didnโ€™t even get that. Trump spent months telling Americans that we won and now Iran will give up everything. Then he signed a deal where they gave up nothing substantively and says he didnโ€™t have a choice. Why did he set the expectations to be that they would give up their nuclear program, end terror funding, end ballistic missile program? A lot of people defended the adminโ€™s strategy for months only to have him throw the entire enterprise under the bus. And btw Tehran is already violating the agreement today in attacking ships but it doesnโ€™t matter because apparently they can do whatever they want because all that natters is keeping the strait open at any cost. Many of us gave the admin a lot of leeway because they deserved credit for making the call. But there is no spinning this when heโ€™s openly saying it.
๐ŸšจWATCH: Trump repeats his admission that he had โ€œno choiceโ€ but to cave to the Iranian blackmail

Those of you feeling blindsided with Donald Trump's sudden love affair with Arab terrorists in Lebanon should look no further than to his new Lebanese billionaire son in law Michael Boulos, and his new Lebanese billionaire best bud Thomas Barrack. Always follow the money!

I've been waiting to comment or offer analysis on an MOU between the U.S. and Iran that I haven't seen, but we've heard a lot about Lebanon so let's address it. If โ€œLebanonโ€ now being included in the deal with Iran means *Iran* is forced to withdraw Iranian Hezbollah from Lebanon, from which they attack Israel and harbor terrorists, then great. But thatโ€™s not whatโ€™s being said or proposed at the moment. The only reason Israel is responding in Lebanon is because Iranian Hezbollah keeps killing their soldiers with drones and sending bombs into northern Israel civilian communities. If Iran pulled Iranian Hezbollah out of Lebanon the fighting would stop. Further, if the UN had enforced UN Security Council Resolution 1701, held the line and kept Iranian Hezbollah north of the Litani River, Israel wouldn't be operating in southern Lebanon to push them back. If the Iranian regime hadn't colonized Lebanon with its terror proxy Hezbollah in the first place, there would be no issue at all. A reminder: Prior to 9/11 Iranian Hezbollah was responsible for more American murders than any other terrorist organization on the planet. They currently operate in South America - our hemisphere - and partner with drug cartels. SOUTHCOM calls it "Jihad in the Jungle." Just over the weekend in southern Lebanon, Israel took out Ali Musa Daqduq - an Iranian Hezbollah terrorist who killed U.S. troops execution style. The strike was extremely targeted, as the majority of them are. He's one of many Iranian Hezbollah terrorists. to whom the IDF has delivered justice - including Iranian Hezbollah leaders behind the Beirut bombings of the U.S. Embassy and Marine Corps barracks, killing hundreds. Lebanon wasn't in the initial ceasefire deal - for good reason. It makes no sense that it is now, other than to give Iran what they want - which is another life line for their strongest and most organized terror proxy. This is an Iranian demand and objective. Counter to the "forever wars" narrative, this actually ensures there will be more war in the future. As the White House has repeatedly said about the goals of Epic Fury, "Weโ€™re ensuring that the Iranian regime cannot continue to arm, fund, and direct terrorist armies outside of their borders.โ€ Lebanon is far outside Iran's borders and Hezbollah is operating there. As the President of Lebanon said last week about Iran and Hezbollah, "It's not your country, it's our country...they are using Lebanon as a bargaining chip in their negotiation with the United States. It's unacceptable." As for who the U.S. is negotiating with in Iran and claims of more moderate leaders than the previous regime being at the table (which I don't believe), you can thank the Israelis for taking out the top three levels of regime leadership so we have "normal" people to negotiate with. Let the Israelis do what they need to do. Iran is still and always has been the hinderance to peace. That hasn't changed and giving Iranian Hezbollah immunity in Lebanon is appeasement that will prolong the conflict.

It's beyond embarrassing that this is our VP. We've had enough historical revisionism thanks to his friend Tuckkker and the lunatics he brings on his show. Only an ignorant or manipulative person would state something so false and If he lies about history, what else would he be lying about?
JD Vance: If you go back to WW2 or every major conflict in human history, they all ended with some kind of negotiation.

Here's how Trump fumbled the Iran issue. It appears that after two months of fighting and relatively minimal losses, Trump grew tired of winning so much and decided to start losing a little to try and balance it out. The biggest mistakes Trump has made: 1. Not using the negotiations process itself as a tool. We came to the table with no preconditions while Iran successfully made their very participation in those negotiations contingent on compliance with other demands. 2. Sounding desperate to make a deal. When you're negotiating, you must come from a position of strength. When you sound desperate to make a deal, you are automatically coming from a position of weakness, regardless of your position on the battlefield. 3. Letting Iran tie the deal to the Hezbollah issue: We should never have let Iran dictate the terms and tie themselves together. They are two separate issues as far as we are concerned, and if we accept this new equation whereby Hezbollah gets to fire at Israel, and Israel is not allowed to respond because Iran's feelings might get hurt, it's a massive win for terrorism. 4. Even discussing the financial issue without complete capitulation. The frozen funds and sanctions shouldn't be tied to just the nuclear issue. Iran would be able to spend those new funds in a variety of other nefarious ways, including their ballistic missile program and terrorist proxies. I don't have TDS. I'm a three time Trump voter. It's just impossible to see this any other way. We are snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. Iran has incurred some damage in the war, but if by the end of it, they come out in a stronger position than before the war, it's hard to see this as anything other than a win for them. We are the stronger party. We have the upper hand on the battlefield. And yet we still let Iran play us for fools. We can't even blame them, because it's working. It's incomprehensible.

Trump spent a decade attacking Obamaโ€™s Iran deal as the ultimate symbol of American weakness. Now, says @LeeSmithDC, his administration may be reviving the same playbook: cash, concessions, and the hope that Tehran changes course. What changed?

JD Vance is a Frankenstein Foreign Policy Monster that combines the worst elements of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden into an Appeasement Monster that will achieve only more destruction and death for the U.S. and its allies. Given the overwhelming evidence of the Islamic regimes of Iran's 47-year religious war against the U.S. and Israel - including the Islamic regime's unbroken trackrecord of lies and the littered remains of broken deals and treaties - it's impossible for any person today to think another peace "deal" is possible with the Mullahs. As with the Nazis in 1945, peace will only come when the Mullahs and the regime guided by their apocalyptic ideology is eliminated.
.@VP: "Right now, I feel that we are in a position to get a deal that is good for the United States economically and that really does deal with the Iranian nuclear problem โ€” not just now, not just while Donald Trump is President, but for the long term."
