It never sits right with me when people do the “who are some amazing women/BIPOC marketers?” types of posts. You’re telling me, as a grown adult, you don’t know a single woman or BIPOC marketer? who inevitably has a more diverse network than you can intro you to others? suss
The "only bring me a problem if you have a solution" mindset is the worst bc it means you'll never get the really gnarly stuff, the stuff that you were hired to help with. Strongest leaders I know create teams that bring them the hardest problems.
I would pay to watch footage of someone doing their "own research" on vaccines. Share your screen because I am absolutely dying to know what you're looking at
It’s on: Join @devinemily@kamilrextin and me today at 12pm PT/3pm ET on @joinclubhouse. 👇🏽We may not know how to start the room, but we definitely know content. ✍🏼

Why must every career focused podcast with women hosts:
1. Be branded with so much pink
2. Have undercutting language in the title: “Goal digger”, “Boss babe”, “Girlboss”, “Style your mind”
Like women can run shit without having to tie a ribbon on it and make it pink
So @kamilrextin got my attention 4 years ago on Twitter when he called out an ebook we created at Mattermark. (Long story, but short version is: Kamil isn't a fan of the B2B e-book genre.)
Regardless, Kamil and I became internet friends, and I've appreciated his hot takes on nearly every aspect of marketing, including his views on *the cult of personality* in B2B marketing.
Never one to shy away from a 🔥 chat, I asked Kamil to come on @heyfirstperson to talk about audience-building and demand gen. Check out the latest episode to hear more --> bit.ly/first-person-kamil.
