This is not "development". This is criminal neglect of basic governance. Phulbani Veterinary Hospital in Kandhamal lies in ruins @Vijaykulange @GokulanandaBJP @_anugarg @SecyChief @MohanMOdisha @CMO_Odisha
@_anugarg @SecyChief @MohanMOdisha @CMO_Odisha Investing heavily in tourism projects is a waste until YOU fix these burning basic crises. Kandhamal HQ Phulbani Veterinary Hospital, right on the main road to the bus stand, is in chronic condition - no infrastructure, no facilities. Despite repeated grievances & mails, zero action. Animals & farmers suffer badly. @GokulanandaBJP This is sheer neglect and worst governance. Because of dummy politicians, honest officers end up taking the blame and their images get harmed. @Vijaykulange @dahvsodisha @farddepartment

131-page Supreme Court judgment. 32 mentions reinforcing the Animal Birth Control Rules. 1 line permitting euthanasia for rabid or mortally wounded dogs - and that becomes the headline. Clickbait thrives on fear. The law doesn’t. The architecture of today’s order: ABC Rules upheld, one ABC centre per district mandated, every High Court on compliance watch. This reinforces what has always been the only humane and scientific framework: Sterilise. Vaccinate. Return. Let’s keep our focus where it needs to be. #streetdogs #dogsofindia #factsoverfear

Normally, I do not comment on Supreme Court judgements and only those who have a case can speak. But if a judgement is given against voiceless animals, then one has to raise their voice. The court order is not practical, it is inhuman. Who will decide whether a stray dog is dangerous and it should be administered the death injection? I feel, the court order will open up the gates of atrocities on voiceless stray dogs. Animal activist Menaka Gandhi's suggestion is right. If the State wants to lower the number of stray dogs, there should be a massive sterilization and vaccination drive for such homeless animals. I would rather prefer the apex court to direct all state governments to start this on a war footing. rajatsharma.in/?p=12573

With due respect, the Honourable Supreme Court orders are mischievous! We the cockroaches of India, demand justice for our dogs. And the Mylords should stop this game of inhumanity. May i remind the Mylords judging, us, cockroaches that — Animals also have RIGHT TO LIVE under our Constitution and you cannot leave them to be culled or keep them in uncared Centres! No new ABC centres, no shelters, no hospitals, no enforcement. The entire idea about these ABC CENTRE was IMPRACTICAL & NOT-FEASIBLE! Now even monkeys are coming down from trees and biting people. That also in Lutyens Delhi. What next? Will they cage the monkeys too? We thought that the Supreme Court would be compassionate, but it has turned out to be the very opposite!

This innocent soul got trapped in the Ganga as the water level suddenly rose, leaving him helpless and struggling to survive. In that terrifying moment, when hope seemed to fade, a kind-hearted raft operator stepped in and rescued him safely. Moments like these remind us that humanity still exists in its purest form. Amid so much indifference, one act of courage and compassion can save a life and restore faith in the goodness of people. Let’s be that reason for someone’s survival. #dogs #AnimalWelfare

#JAYPEEGREENS RWA’S CRUEL DOUBLE FACE ON THE STRAY DOG ISSUE HAS BEEN EXPOSED?? They complain on social media that the dogs are aggressive and portray themselves as victims. But look at what they do behind the scenes to these dogs and at their plans that were leaked from their WhatsApp group. These dogs are bound to become aggressive under such circumstances. This is what dog haters do: They provoke dogs into reacting, and then, after an incident happens, they seek sympathy online. The paid dog hater mafia takes care of the rest. Despite @AWBI issuing a legal warning, this RWA continues to indulge in actions that may amount to violations. @THaPriYa123 #saveindiandogs @UNHumanRights @UN @WHO

The situation at the forest department nursery in Vadgaon Sawtal, Ahilyanagar, is a heartbreak that cannot be ignored. For over three months, 21 leopards have been confined to cramped, suffocating cages. These majestic animals are in a dying state. Due to the extreme heat, foul smells, and constant congestion, they are hitting the bars in distress, causing themselves further injury. Two leopards have already died, and another is currently fading away. Our heritage teaches us "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" the world is one family. This sacred philosophy does not just apply to humans; it encompasses every living soul. When we imprison these creatures in such inhumane conditions, we are failing our role as guardians of this global family. To ignore their suffering is to ignore a part of ourselves. The Reality on the Ground: 3 Months of imprisonment in nursery cages. Zero Movement due to cramped, inadequate spacing. Rising Temperatures making hot cages a death trap. These leopards deserve dignity and relocation to a proper facility, not a slow death in a cage. We cannot stay silent while our wildlife is treated with such neglect. We call upon the authorities to intervene immediately before more lives are lost. @MahaForest @peta @petaindia @CMOMaharashtra @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @WildlifeSOS @moefcc @rashtrapatibhvn @priyankac19 @RenukaCCongress @dilthi_gujarati

Reports indicate: • Severe overcrowding • Extreme heat exposure in metal cages • Lack of movement • Stress injuries from hitting cage bars • Foul smell and poor hygiene • 2 leopards already dead • 1 leopard reportedly in critical condition If true, this constitutes a grave violation of wildlife protection laws. --- ⚖️ LEGAL POSITION 🐆 Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 Leopard (Panthera pardus) is a Schedule I species — highest level of protection. Section 9 Prohibits hunting. The definition of “hunting” includes capturing, trapping, or confining wild animals. Repeated use of unverified CCTV clips and viral forwards as “news” by Indian media outlets fueled mob behaviour leading to violence against street dogs. Where were editorial checks? Is this journalism? @BBCWorld @AJEnglish #IndiaUnmutes #CitizensAskIndia
