I’ve been doing a deeeeep-dive into change management theory. Building a framework for our client engagements at @OneAccord based on on 80yrs of research from the top 20 thought leaders. Here are two models particularly capturing my attention: ADKAR -and- SCARF @grok can tell everyone what these are. What I can tell you, from decades of hands-on experience, is that the “A” in ADKAR is disparate across all entrepreneurs (think the AI revolution today) and the “D” in ADKAR is competing heavily with the “S” in SCARF. Solve for these = new levels unlocked.

Hey @grok my timeline is full of Elon supporters. Is the @X algo favoring those who align with my personal content and the posts I am liking to such a degree that I just do t see any other content? It’s like 100:1 ratio. What percentage of all X posts are in favor of @elonmusk and @SpaceX and what percentage are opposing and/or adversarial?

This is so important for everyone to understand.
If the socialists had their way, Elon would have had his paypal profits taken and redistributed for the greater good. The world would never have seen Tesla, nor SpaceX. And the world wouldn't know it, because they were uncreated, and thus unseen. Imagine the companies that don't exist, because Washington destroyed them before they were born.

Cool if this were taught as part of elementary school curriculum.
Envy and resent act as a dominant negatives on your ability to be inspired. Protect that ability at all costs.

So a troll is trolling and I want to play. I find it cathartic to engage trolls on this platform. It's like BJJ - to spar with a willing participant is a healthy release, for me. Anyhow, this guy says to me in latin, "it speaks for itself" then blocks me so I cannot reply to let him know...if his comment were so eloquently written that it spoke for itself, I would not have needed to ask.

I’m disheartened by the negativity around SpaceX and Elon. Particularly the negative and divisive sentiment coming from elected officials. Moreso however, I’m so very happy for all who were rewarded for their years of effort, ingenuity and risk taking. The employees and investors who prosper from SpaceX’s IPO are all good in my book!

Creativity doesn't show up in cultures where it isn't safe to fail. If your team is only bringing you polished ideas, you're missing most of them. The good ones usually start messy. Make it safe to bring the bad idea. Encourage people to push until something breaks. Celebrate the wins loudly. That's how you build a team that thinks.

This is the lesson
Thanks, Elon. And thanks to you too, Gavin.

You are smarter than this Ro. Imagine if Bernie had taxed @elonmusk 100% on his PayPal capital gains. We would have no @Tesla or @SpaceX - none of those jobs or GDP. Who do you think allocated the capital better for society? He will already pay $100 B in taxes - more than any human ever. I hope he donates some to kids via @TrumpAccounts to make every kid a shareholder in 🇺🇸 & continues investing all his heart, soul & money for the benefit of America & all humanity! 🇺🇸🚀🤍

How disgraceful, on a day when so many Americans are invited to join one of history’s greatest companies, when so many employees were rewarded for years of hard work and sacrifice, when capitalism worked so beautifully well to prosper the lives of thousands of Americans… …for any elected official to say anything other than, “Congratulations SpaceX.”

Took my daughter on a quick work trip and added two days for Yellowstone on the way home. Worth every extra mile. We watched Old Faithful go off right on schedule with a few hundred strangers. She'll remember it. So will I.

The hardest thing about leading through an AI moment is that the playbook doesn't exist yet. I've talked to a lot of CEOs who are waiting for someone else to go first.  I'm in the middle of figuring it out. What I do know: the leaders who are honest with their teams about what they don't know yet are the ones building the most trust right now.

This account is one of my favs. I’m just trying to imagine the person behind it all. I’d love to talk NIM and efficiency ratios over a black coffee and Moons Over My Hammy at Lenny’s.
Went out to dinner last night All alone (as usual) Guys next to me are chatting investments SpaceX IPO, trading options, buying Tesla stock, etc Basically, they're glorified gamblers They hear me chuckling at them as I polish off my third vodka soda "What do you invest in, old man?" I tell them I'm looking at a community bank that's grown its deposits 22% over the last 4 years Net income was $2.4 million last year And you can buy shares for only 9x earnings Meanwhile these bozos are only buying companies at 500x earnings like degenerate gamblers They ask how much the company is worth $18 million, I say It's too small for any serious institutions to care about it This is the arena I can own, I tell them, as I order another vodka soda They tell me I'm crazy and go back to their growth "investing" chat I quietly slip out without paying the bill and drive home in my beat up 2003 Honda Accord Kids these days just don't understand what value investing is all about

Think selling a business is a financial decision? It's not. It's an emotional one. I was talking with Craig Dickens at Merit Bank about this. The owners who've built something real don't lie awake worrying about the price. They worry about their people. What happens to the team they spent years building after they hand over the keys. That's the conversation nobody prepares you for.

I’m confused by this. @boardyai is a great use case for AI. Not knocking it at all - in fact, I’ve tried it and like the experience. Results haven’t been excellent for me yet, but I’m likely not the ICP. The confusion is that Boardy is pure AI and I didn’t think @X was allowing bots to post/reply. Did I miss something? Either way, Boardy is impressive. I’d encourage everyone to test it just to see what it’s about.
