George H.W. Bush kept his assets in a blind trust, as did Bill Clinton. Neither Obama nor Biden traded stocks or bonds while in office. 3,700 trades is probably more than all the trades of all the presidents until now. And he is trading stocks that are affected by his decisions. A walking conflict of interest, at the least, and perhaps insider trading. Just as members of Congress should not be able to trade stocks, so too the president. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

This is a spectacularly important study. Published in Nature, it provides solid evidence that this platform pushes those on the right further to the right, more pro-Trump, more pro-Russia,… And that these effects are programmed into the platform nature.com/articles/s41586-0…

By repeatedly stealing my wife's phone over the year to rig her Spotify, this was her most played song. Unfortunately, there was no @JohnCena video in her Wrapped.

It’s just amazing that this myth about Vietnam still circulates on the hard right We did not have a reliable local partner, no matter how hard we tried, and we couldn’t seal off South VN from infiltration like we could S Korea The only way to win was staying indefinitely or 1

Trump: "The problem with Vietnam, we, you know, we stopped fighting to win. We would've won easy. We would've won Afghanistan easy. We would've won every war easy. But we got politically correct. 'Oh, let's take it easy.' We're not politically correct anymore, just so you understand."

There is a bill in Congress right now that would allow the State Department to revoke the passports of American citizens that criticize U.S. foreign policy. How is this even remotely legal?

Denmark no longer sees the United States as a reliable and non-threatening partner and it just cost our companies $8 billion. Turns out threatening to invade and annex Greenland was not just a harmless bit of stupidity.
It pays to be a good ally. Denmark yesterday announced our biggest defence investment ever. We will buy air defence for 8 billion euros, and it will all come from European producers. It has been a strong political desire to buy from reliable and non-threatening partners.

Been saying this for awhile, but will repeat it for emphasis: If you love freedom but don’t care if it applies to everyone, what you actually love is privilege.
