A lot of people wonder why there hasn't been some kind of Revolution or Uprising or Civil War in all the places where it is very clear that the in-power regime not only hates the population it governs, but is actively working to suppress it, redistribute its wealth, and replace it.
To understand why this is the case, one must accept a very ugly, undesirable truth: there's no such thing as The People that doesn't include a layer of elites in a cabal or coalition that Guides & Decides.
Every "people's revolution" or "people's movement" or "people's uprising" has always been a consequence of the coordinating and scheming of a cabal of elites. Just as the fish rots from the head, the fish is propelled by the tail which obeys the head. It simply doesn't work any other way.
What we're seeing in NIreland is a powerful proof of this assertion. There has been an ongoing desire for change in Southern Ireland, with huge masses of people all crying out for something, and it has resulted in precisely dick.
Why?
Because there is no cabal of elites with a purpose, plan, and method for executing the plan.
There are multiple millions of people in America who claim, and may even actually want, dramatic changes made; to culture, to society, to government. Nothing happens.
Why?
Because there is no cabal of elites with a purpose, plan, and method for executing the plan.
Due to a collection of largely unique and very interesting circumstances, NIreland has a cabal of elites very able to plan, coordinate, and act. Whether or not they have the gumption and endurance to go the distance, I can't say. I pray they do.
There has been endless verbal and textual sparring online between factions, groups, and ideolectual clades; what is the right method, what is the proper trajectory, what are the acceptable means, what are the worthy goals. These are all valid and valuable questions that create interesting and worthwhile discussions.
But the reality is that the overwhelming majority of elites, in America and all of her imperial holdings, are more or less fine with the way things are. Sure, they will compete & jockey for position. Of course, they will fund no end of propaganda full of colorful and fiery rhetoric (signifying nothing substantial). But in large part we do what we want to do and get what we are asking for.
The array of elite factions and groups in the Greater Occident have no desire whatsoever for substantive change or fundamental shifts in the dynamics of power. Why this is the case is a sticky and tricky question, and should be discussed more, but with sophistication and a surfeit of coldness (as opposed to postmodern barbarianism and fiery emotion).
That this is the case is undeniable, and those who would seek to argue the opposite will always, always, always adopt the frame of the left, use the terminology of liberalism, and cling to the retarded notion of individualism. If this gets good circulation, the comments will demonstrate this decisively.
Here's what to look for, your sign that this is changing:
• Elites and the commentators that speak for them will decline to begin objectionable or decisive statements with equivocating caveats ("nobody wants (x) to happen," "violence is always bad," etc)
• Charges of distasteful -isms will be met with "so?" or "yes, and-" instead of "never!" or "yes, but-"
• Monologues, diatribes, speeches, and rejoinders/ripostes will be laced with explicit & consistent in-group signifiers.
The point here is that, when we strip away all of the trappings of postmodernity, Gay Nigger Communist lexicon, and politically correct CrimeStop, the Nation is a People and the people are a Race. If this is ignored or outlawed, there is just no real method for organic, organized violence, which is precisely what fundamental political change requires, indeed, What It Is.
Denying this, ignoring this, rejecting this is no sin; it just shows where you stand.
Or kneel.
