Manual execution is your edge over the hedge funds. Trizzy on why retail traders actually have an edge over hedge funds in this market "TA has never changed, the same profitable strategy still works to this day. But to be profitable in this market, you can't trade automatic. You're not trading entry, stop, TP anymore using that RR tool and actually making money. It's so rare to have an edge trading like that now" "The hedge funds and prop firms that came in, they can't use manual execution, they're in positions too large to exit right away. So you have an advantage, you can exit whenever you want. A winning trade is a winning trade, sometimes I'll take 1K points off a fast move. You now have to actually understand what the price action means in the moment"
New Episode w @ImTrizzy We discuss: - Pure price action trading - Bear market comparisons - Positioning for the summer And much more! 0:53 - Trizzy's intro to trading 1:28 - Adapting to new market conditions 3:55 - Progression as a trader 4:43 - Bitcoin volatility and the last 6 months PA 10:05 - Predicting the market meltdown in January 11:43 - Trizzy's trading style 15:34 - Price action is never random 18:15 - Less is more during the summer time 20:00 - Use prop trading to your advantage 22:34 - Dealing with big losses 24:42 - How Trizzy finds winning setups

"If you have a main account under 10K, you probably should just get a job." Trizzy on why most traders don't have enough money to even let themselves win "I don't think props should be used as your main account, a lot of people get that wrong. I'm using props to tag on risk to my main accounts. Most people trade with not enough money to even let themselves win" "When I first started with a 1-2K account you just end up rinsing it, you're not even giving yourself a chance to win. If you're risking 20-30% a trade, even if you're the best trader in the world, you're not giving yourself a chance. You need a good amount of capital to make money"

"If I tell you this is backed by 800K Bitcoin, but I'm not going to sell it, then from a credit side, they are not going to underwrite it as a four times or like a 25% LTV." @kevinlhr88 from @saturn_credit talks about Saylor selling Bitcoin to buy more and the potential impact on markets "I think there's going to be a lot of volatility between the MicroStrategy stock and the Bitcoin price... MNAV goes from two to maybe -0.5" "For STRC shareholders, this is actually very good because it shows that Saylor is committed to paying the dividend as well as keeping the peg." "It's also not healthy for the market to bank on Saylor to never sell, right? So it's overall a net positive thing to the market."

we had Alan from Railgun last year to chat about all things privacy $RAIL is also repricing right now with the privacy narrative in full swing. One thing I found interesting is how TVL works in privacy and how it's completely different from that of a DeFi protocol a must-watch if you're just diving into Railgun
"The protocol does something like $300 to $600 million in transaction volume a quarter" @tsu_kareta, on the @touchgrass_pod last year December, explains how TVL works in a privacy protocol like @RAILGUN_Project "What's happening mechanically is that users are depositing into a private address within the smart contract. They have their own private safe, and they can put money in it and transact" "Privacy and TVL go hand in hand. I'd argue the moat for these contracts is that over time this compounds on itself- as the TVL grows, as the transactions grow, that privacy set increases."

RoboStrategy is at 400% NAV premium, the demand signal is strong, Deus is the flywheel on top Mauricio from XMaquina, on why closed-ended Robotics exposure is trading at a premium and Deus is the open market infrastructure layer on top. "We spoke to Andrew Kang two years ago when we started building this. We exchanged notes and we've both seen that this is kind of obvious." "RoboStrategy's NAV was at a 400% premium as of May 16th, multiple of 5x to NAV. That's a really strong signal." "With Deus, NAV exposure is only part of the ecosystem. The RCM protocol lets you tokenize and trade asset-specific sub-DAOs, trading fees accrue back to the DAO. It's a growing economic flywheel rather than just a closed-ended fund."

Mauricio from XMaquina on why crypto needs to solve robotics ownership before it's too late "Let's use the Teslas. Autonomous Teslas that are driving around Austin right now. There's no more drivers. Those are all owned and operated by Tesla. If they become the top taxi service in the US, they're going to control that whole market. It's a monopoly" "We have to build models where people can plug in their machines to existing systems. Maybe you pay like a service fee, like 20% of all revenue to the company who's managing and putting you into that system. We got to create an open machine economy" "Universal basic ownership is much better, where instead of them giving you just money, you're able to acquire some of the assets that are working in your city, in your community, and still be kind of sovereign. We don't want to own nothing and be happy"

Two moats matter in stablecoins: TRUST if you own the user, LIQUIDITY if you serve businesses. Wyatt of Castle Island Ventures on the two completely different moat's stablecoin businesses need depending on who they actually serve. "Owning the end user is really valuable. You develop a trust relationship with your user which makes it difficult to disintermediate." "The most valuable thing they built is that audience. They can tap into that audience and cross-sell other offerings or bring in other integrations." "In the AI era, digital trust is becoming something we're all very concerned about. If you're comfortable with a product and have a trust relationship, it's going to be sticky." "If you're a clearing house, the number of parties integrated and the amount of liquidity flowing through dictates the staying power you have in market." On prediction markets, he adds: "Liquidity probably becomes the moat above anything else."

"We're definitely not expecting value to grow on both sides" Wyatt of Castle Island Ventures on how they classify every deal as either a token business or an equity business "Typically we are expecting a company to be a token based business or an equity based business. We're not sitting in the middle saying this one could go either way" "The form factor for a lot of those token businesses will be a SAFE plus token warrant. It's an effective structuring methodology. But we're not expecting value to accrue on the equity side of that" "There are some folks who look at it that way. We don't. Maybe they end up pivoting and it becomes an equity business. But we are not sitting in the middle"
