MP Court Convicted 14 in Mob Lynching Case ! मध्य प्रदेश ने सिवनी मालवा तहसील में 3 अगस्त 2022 को गो तस्करी के आरोप में अमरावती (महाराष्ट्र) निवासी नजीर अहमद को भीड़ ने पीट पीट कर मार दिया (मॉब लिंचिंग) था। घटना के चार साल बाद शुक्रवार को सिवनी मालवा की एडीजे कोर्ट ने 14 आरोपियों को दोषी पाया और सभी को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई ! सजा सुनते ही कोर्ट परिसर में मौजूद आरोपियों के परिजनों की चीखें निकल गईं। आरोपियों को जेल ले जाने के लिए पुलिस जब वाहन में बैठा रही थी, तभी परिजनों ने विरोध शुरू कर दिया। कुछ परिजन पुलिस वाहन के सामने लेट गए और आरोपियों को ले जाने से रोकने लगे। पुलिस और परिजनों के बीच धक्का-मुक्की व झूमाझटकी की नौबत आ गई। परिजनों ने वाहन को हाथों से रोकने का भी प्रयास किया। काफी मशक्कत के बाद पुलिस ने स्थिति पर काबू पाया और सभी दोषियों को जेल रवाना किया। परिजनों का कहना था कि कुछ लोग बच्चों को बहका कर गौसेवा के उद्देश्य से ले गए थे, लेकिन यह घटना हो गई।
