If you want to make this an aristocracy, this would be valid and Trump wouldn’t be the nominee. But as long as we are going to be a giant government, we need a candidate who can message the people. We’re redrawing the lines. Are you an elitist who needs protection or can you live on your own? #Trump2024

When she was head of BD, I think she gave the first tour I was on, where she described the flow in a pintle injector as “where the sheet hits the fan.” Her business card is in my stack at work from a later visit.
SpaceX's 11th employee just became a billionaire. Gwynne Shotwell joined SpaceX in 2002. She was employee number 11, joining as VP of Business Development before the company had proven a single rocket could fly. She didn't even go there looking for a job. She had taken a colleague to lunch to celebrate him leaving for SpaceX, ran into Musk at the restaurant, and got interviewed on the spot. A week later, she joined him. Her job: sell rocket launches for a company nobody had heard of. She built the Falcon vehicle manifest to over $5 billion in commercial contracts. She managed SpaceX's growth to 22,000 employees. She was the one who told NASA, the Air Force, and paying commercial customers why SpaceX could get to orbit cheaper and faster than anyone before it. She was also the one who said no to going public for years. "I wasn't sure the company would go public," she said on CNBC yesterday. She resisted the pressure because she believed the public markets would force SpaceX into quarterly thinking, which would kill the mission. She finally decided it was time. "I do not want to focus on quarterly earnings," she said on IPO day. "What we're doing is very futuristic." Her stake is now worth north of $1.3 billion. She's SpaceX's fifth-largest Class A shareholder. The 24 years of operational work that made yesterday possible have Gwynne Shotwell's fingerprints on them.

Does Cybertruck need air for cooling? I wonder if any of the electrical components are subject to multipaction.
SpaceX should put some Starlinks around the moon, drop a Cybertruck on the surface with a retractable solar panel for charging, let the truck FSD literally anywhere it wants, and livestream it back to earth. $SPCX $TSLA

SpaceX exists now because of NASA. NASA as an angel investor (early customer) helped create a $2 trillion company. This is much more than all taxpayer money that NASA has ever received, even adjusted for inflation. Best “NASA spinoff” ever.

“Elon Musk is a trillionaire.” As a securities law attorney, please allow me to explain how anyone who says this is basically lying to you: 1. The Securities and Exchange Commission has a myriad of laws that prevent founders and other large stockholders of publicly traded companies from dumping their shares. There are substantial holding period requirements, volume of sales limitations and public reporting obligations for stock sales. Basically, Elon holds largely illiquid shares, he is a “trillionaire” on paper only, and the best analogy is when people peg your net worth based on your home’s market price. That’s not money in your pocket, that’s the house you live in. 2. All that money raised in the IPO? That’s not going into Elon’s pocket like the lying socialist idiots want you to believe. It’s a capital influx that will be used to make more rockets and get more payloads into orbit. It’s a CAPITAL investment—that money is like a business loan, it’s not your money to keep, it’s your money to grow the business. 3. If it WERE legal for Elon to dump his shares, the share price would crash basically instantly and the company could very well fail. If you bought SpaceX shares in the IPO, congrats. You just bought a lottery ticket, just like Elon. May the odds ever be in your favor. So the next time someone screeches about how unfair it is that Elon Musk creates wealth that benefits all of humanity, throw the truth back in their faces.

You can no longer pretend not to know what Democrats will do with power.
Jasmine Crockett says that Karmelo Anthony was justified in stabbing Austin Metcalf to death: "He decided to go under a tent and simply didn't want to be put out on the rain by some kid he didn't know... There was no mercy seen when this black boy said 'I was scared.'"

The next one is “you’ll never have a dividend.”
> you’ll never start a rocket company > you’ll never build your own engines > you’ll never be able to use off-the-shelf parts > you’ll never survive three launch failures > you’ll never reach orbit > you’ll never win NASA’s trust > you’ll never launch cargo to the ISS > you’ll never compete with Boeing > you’ll never compete with Lockheed > you’ll never make rockets reusable > you’ll never land a rocket vertically > you’ll never land one on a drone ship > you’ll never reuse a booster > you’ll never fly the same booster 10 times > you’ll never fly the same booster 20 times > you’ll never fly the same booster 30 times > you’ll never recover and reuse the fairing > you’ll never lower launch costs > you’ll never launch every month > you’ll never launch every week > you’ll never launch multiple times a week > you’ll never carry astronauts > you’ll never replace Roscosmos > you’ll never fly civilians to orbit > you’ll never manufacture satellites at scale > you’ll never build the biggest constellation ever > you’ll never make satellite internet work > you’ll never make satellite internet fast > you’ll never make satellite internet affordable > you’ll never serve rural customers > you’ll never serve aircraft and ships > you’ll never build a methane rocket engine > you’ll never make full-flow staged combustion work > you’ll never build the most powerful rocket ever > you’ll never build a rocket bigger than Saturn V > you’ll never build it out of stainless steel > you’ll never launch Starship > you’ll never separate Super Heavy and Starship > you’ll never relight Raptor in space > you’ll never bring Super Heavy back > you’ll never catch a booster with Mechazilla tower arms > you’ll never launch 85% of mass to orbit worldwide > you’ll never change the economics of space > you’ll never force the entire industry to copy you > you’ll never win > you’ll never IPO   Congratulations to @elonmusk and the SpaceX team. You did what countless people said was impossible, and you did it time and time again.   Today is your day. You deserve this. May it be a glorious one.

Texas establishment just won. This could mean the end to the effort to close the primaries.
I want to congratulate @DrindaRandall and @CoveyTX on their nomination as Chair and Vice Chair of our @TexasGOP. While this race has come to an end, our mission continues. Now is the time to come together, unite behind our Republican nominees, support the entire Republican ticket in November, advance our legislative priorities in the next session, and continue standing firmly for the conservative principles outlined in our platform. I am grateful to everyone who supported our campaign, and I remain committed to serving our party and fighting for the values that make Texas strong.

The biggest political cuck of the 2020s. He could’ve bowed out gracefully and realized the tone passed him by. He even could’ve not endorsed Paxton. He would’ve been celebrated but HIS grift was too much.

How do you run a country where a random Libyan whose mother was in the US for 24 hours to give birth is now qualified to be the President of the United States?

Austin Metcalf's father was swatted 6 times. Austin Metcalf's mother was swatted 2 times. They had to keep all of this under a gag order. The hell these people went through being terrorized by blacks was insane.

The right needs to have an urban corps. People who live undercover and gain street intelligence in the worst dens of iniquity. I think infinite crimes could be uncovered.
.@SteveHiltonx may have just given us the Rosetta Stone to decipher the corruption in California’s election laws. A lot of the fraud is LEGAL. It’s a rigged system. Hilton highlighted that anyone can write in and BACKDATE their mail-in ballots. The state will accept ANY forms that have the election date on it, regardless of when it was turned in. Paired with the fact that California knows exactly how many votes they need to turn the tide, this is a perfect storm for “legal” fraud. Here's an idea: California should treat its elections as securely as the Academy Awards. Get PricewaterhouseCoopers on the phone, ask them to do the counting, and only release the results when it’s final.
